The National Parks have been called “America’s Best Idea.” (And, if you haven’t seen it yet, check out Ken Burns’ incredible documentary on the Parks - it’s on Netflix). I really love the story behind the National Park Service and I’m extremely honored that the hitRECord community has been invited to create art to mark their 100th anniversary.
Since 1916 they’ve been preserving land & monuments throughout the U.S. - places like Yosemite National Park (where I’ve spent a bunch of time camping w/ my family), the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore and many more. Without the National Park Service these places probably wouldn’t have been reserved for all of us to enjoy.
