Sign the petition: Congress is about to reauthorize the PATRIOT Act:

So, I’ve been trying not to inundate you guys with Snowden-related stuff, but this one is pressing. Right now, a group of popular Republicans AND Democrats is putting forward something called the “USA Freedom Act”, and they claim it will change a lot of the illegal, oppressive things the government has been doing. BUT THEY’RE NOT BEING HONEST! From what I understand, the “USA Freedom Act” pays lip service, but it doesn’t meaningfully change anything. What really needs to happen is a repeal of The Patriot Act.

Since joining Oliver Stone’s project to play Snowden, I’ve learned a ton of fascinating and frightening things. There’s lots to read if you’re interested, and this petition is a good place to start…
