Dream, in life and film

Do you sometimes feel a little sheepish when you think big? Or want more? When you desire to go after a goal that doesn't seem within reach?

I do.

But my working theory is that if you have those questions, then you might be on to something important.

That's how I feel about the latest project I produced calledDream, which isdirected by my talented brothers Matthew and Daniel Kooman. It's nowstreaming online.

The series features the stories of diverse people from around the globe who found...

Twelve Words at the River Jordan

My new skit "Twelve Words at the River Jordan" is now available at Skit Guys.

In this skit, Thomas and Philip recount the moment they witnessed Jesus’ baptism by John at the Jordan, and how love from heaven spilled onto the earth.

It's great content to illustrate a sermon on baptism or for a series about Jesus' entry into his work on earth.

1 // It's everywhere and it's cruel

The Global Slavery Index estimates there are 40.3 million people around the world caught in slavery's clutches. 1/3 are children.

{Pause to weep, yell, commit, resolve here}

2 // People are the...

Thank you for connecting with me over the last year through my blog. As is my tradition, I wrote a poem for Christmas, my way to engage the wonder and mystery of the season.

After All
Christmas 2019 After the frenetic pace of the cross-country journey and the frantic search for any place with a warm, clean room All the strange and surprising collisions of an obscure...
