CHASING SIN Gets a Release Date!
I am extremely pleased to announce that the smokin' hot m/m/f menage book, CHASING SIN, will release on April 27, 2012! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the storm chasing research I did for this book and I'm so excited to get to share this story with everyone. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
Every spring, Kate risks her life chasing violent storms. Tired of watching her take unnecessary chances, two of her closest friends offer a different thrill. Devoted lovers Snyder and Tripp don't just share a passion for nature's fury; they long to have the fearless woman between them.
Though she is reluctant, she also knows the proposition is too irresistible to refuse. Her acceptance leads to an explosive night of no-holes-barred sex for the threesome. However, when morning dawns, she realizes this type of unusual relationship isn't one she belongs in.
Despite her best efforts to keep the men at arm's length, Kate finds herself facing down the storm of the century with them at her side. With Mother Nature intruding, the trio discovers shelter in each other's arms. With the hurricane raging outside and passion raging inside, everything is at stake.

Six Sentence Sunday – 4/1
Have a bit of good news to share this morning. I'll have a new sci-fi erotic romance coming out soon with Decadent Publishing! Some of the specifics are still being worked out, but I do have a title. Lethal Beauty. I'll share more details as they become available, but have a look at six sentences…
"Now find somewhere to strap your ass in since I can't hide you effectively with them on our tails."
Sway stormed away, dark hair flying out behind her as she left him staring at her back. Her military issued pants seemed to fit in all the right places and reminded him he'd been violently aroused only minutes before. Though the energy had dissipated for the most part, Dason still felt the residual effects. His anger helped feed the energy and he cursed the reaction as a set of heavy blast doors slid into place to separate them.
He couldn't decide if he wanted to kill her or fuck her.
For those new to this, the rules are simple:
1) pick a project – a current Work in Progress, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you're published
2) pick six sentences
3) post 'em on Sunday

Guest Blog – The Writing Team of April Fifer & Danielle Hylton-Outland
I'm very pleased to have authors April Fifer & Danielle Hylton-Outland here today talking about their experience releasing a book.
~*~
1st Time Book
Wow. Where to start? We had this idea to write a book together and had no idea where it would lead us. First off, we broke every writing rule there was. We had this great idea and was all over the place with it. We finally buckled down and figured out each other's niche and then wrote our butts off. Then one day… it was done. So… now what do we do? Let's send it off to agents! Well, we sent it to about twenty and was rejected. We decided the scrap that idea and go straight to self-publishing. Keep in mind, we still had no idea what we were doing. We sold two books! Hooray! A week later we sold a hundred books. Even better! The numbers kept going up, and we weren't even promoting. (Basically, because we didn't know where to start.) We met Rebecca Royce (virtually), who became a great friend, and during that time, our book showed up on Happily Ever After Reviews (HEA) and received a five star rating with a recommend read. We were completely shocked. We hadn't submitted it to anyone and just by chance, they read it. Later, we were nominated for book of the month at HEA and won. Our new friend, Rebecca, helped explained the E-Pub world to us and how to promote. We sent our book to Silver Publishing and was picked up. Since then we have tried to double-time it on promoting and so far haven't done too bad. One thing we never realized was how much work promoting really was. But we do owe a big thank you to Rebecca. It's been a crazy ride, and we appreciate the support of our friends and families.
Thanks so much for having us today! We are so grateful!
April and Danielle
Azaleigh's life is simple until, by chance, she meets Kale. Charming and handsome Az is immediately drawn to him. But long kept secrets lurk in the hearts of those Az holds most dear, and dangerous plans are unfolding around her. As her life begins to crumble and Kale disappears, Gage, charismatic and striking, arrives, providing a calm port in an increasingly violent storm. But with every narrow escape from a far from human bounty hunter after her life, Az begins to unravel a secret with the power to change her forever. In an increasingly hostile world of Angel and Fallen, Azaleigh must navigate her own path, chose her own side, and ultimately protect her heart. Faced with two gorgeous men, an enemy she doesn't know, and a future she cannot understand, Az must make the choice: the man she loves, or the man she cannot live without.

Danielle Hylton-Outland was raised in Virginia. She grew up having a huge appetite for daydreaming; always wanting to live in the spectacular worlds she created in her mind. She now lives with her husband and dog where she is pursuing a degree in literature. Danielle is a strong animal activist. She is currently co-writing the second book in the Flesh Series, "Flesh and Flames".
April Fifer grew up in a small town in Virginia, where it was common practice believing that dreams could only be found in stories. At the age of seven she was diagnosed with dyslexia. She was told that she would struggle through life and would never pick up a book to read for pleasure. Although school was hard, she was able to find her way with the help of two teachers who taught her self-discovery. Ignoring what she was taught growing up, she turned it around and found that your dreams could become stories.

Six Sentence Sunday – 3/25
Writing a book is a lot of hard work. One of the rewards when you contract a book with a publisher is shiny, shiny cover art landing in your inbox. That's what happened to me on Friday. Enjoy the artwork and six sentences from my upcoming Ellora's Cave release, Chasing Sin. Can write a storm chasers book with a chase, right?
The howling was horrible and reminded him of a jet engine barreling down a runway right for them. That strong wind whipped Kate's black hair, tangling it as she widened her stance in order to brace herself from the approaching storm. She moved with a casual ease that gave no hint to the danger swirling less than a half mile from where they stood.
The elephant-trunk-shaped tornado gave a deep growl as it chewed up the field. It had darkened considerably since they'd started the chase, the dirt and debris it churned up altering the color to a deep, murky gray. If Snyder hadn't been so worried about getting Kate and leaving, he might have taken the time to be impressed with Mother Nature's creation.

Cover Art Reveal – Chasing Sin
My inbox was a'jumpin yesterday, sales statements, edits, crits, blurbs and this gem – the cover art for Chasing Sin. Don't you just want to lick it? No? Okay, maybe that's just me.

Lucky Seven
Stacey Kennedy tagged me for this and it looked like fun, though, the sentences the rules selected are pretty…normal.
The Rules:
Go to page 77 of your current MS.
Go to line 7.
Copy down the next 7 lines/sentences, and post them as they're written. No cheating.
Seven lines from Command.
As soon as she finished the statement, a few curious glances shot her way. Had she said something wrong? Or had Ryan not been as discreet as he may have thought and the group around them was reacting to the very sexual promise he'd just whispered to her?
Elena tapped the stem of her wine glass on the table. "Beth and I met when I'd gone to Tennessee for business."
"When you helped design that building after the floods, right?"
"Yes."

"You deserve this kind of treatment. To be on display just as much as any other
sub you've seen at the club."
"No…."
Burke slid a hand around Rayna's waist and let his fingers trail slowly through the
dark, damp curls he'd just washed. "Yes, you do. You're only different from them
because you're mine."

Book Addiction
It's Thursday, and my weekly post at Paranormal Romantics has just gone live. It's part 2 of a post I started last week about being married to someone who is just as addicted to books as I am. Very cool sometimes. Other times…unsettling.
