Hi Shane,Thank you-- I actually published the piece in an anthology on Narrative and Fiction edited by Timmi Duchamp but got no response, so I decided to post it on Douglas Messerli's blog. Is that hiding it? Excerpts are forthcoming in two anthologies, one from Ampersand Press and one from Les Figues. I've also presented some of this work at the last two &NOW conferences... the essay is a prose version of my new book (same title), which I hope to finish this year. The book has formal affinities with Blue Fire. I'm trying to do history in a new way, but readers like yourself are rare..
I appreciate comments and controversy...
