Mr. Meri is at the vet and having a biopsy done on that ear. FINALLY! It's too weird not to do one. Why won't it heal? EVER!

Photo - This is why I love the way our house is situated. That's the full moon in the window above our door. This time of year, that's where it sits. Breath-taking. Not so much my picture of it.

FIRST editorial review/blurb in!!! I can relax a little.

"Writing a solid first novel is one thing, but penning a qualitative second and now third book in a series is something else, and Dent has accomplished the task in Cyn No More. Sue writes strong characters and many will enjoy her character-driven fiction. Don't buy just one copy because you will want to share Dent's Cyn no More with other readers." ~ Frank Creed Author of Flashpoint and founder of the Lost Genre Guild (for the promotion of Christian Speculative fiction.)

ARGGGHHH!!! So I've tapered him off off his prednisolone. Been giving him his meds to take the edge of his itch or whatever it is that makes him attack his ear, keep his nails trimmed and I'll be damned if he didn't go off and have another "attack" last night, out of the blue!!! Right before bed. There was a scab on his ear. He had scratched that off, blood was flowing, he was growling and scratching to beat the band. I had already given him his meds in his food, but I immediately fed him again to give him another round, gave him a dose of Prednisolone and he still moaned and growled around for half the night. I sat with him and loved on him until he was a little calmer. He did sleep but would wake up to scratch and howl every now and then. And this is him this morning after another dose of medicine. THANK GOD!!! I've got flea stuff on him but I think every now and then he still gets one and he must be allergic to them. Poor guy! He was all lovely this morning. His way of saying thank-you I think.

Okay, Y'ALL, I wanna hear what a good 'kitty' mom I am. Three of my rescued kitties, now Cats, spray occasionally. Not there fault, they were fixed on time but I'm not about to give them up because of this horrible problem. Instead, I am going about the process of painting with epoxy paint on the bottom half of the wall (where they usually spray.) Wala! No harm to the wall and a easy clean-up. Looks good too, at least I think so! Works for kids too. And well, they are my kids, sort of. :) They don't spray often and only ONE of them is bad about it. I can usually tell when he's about to and put him out for a bit.
