Plato is a Dick
Louisville's fine Alternative Weekly newspaper, the LEO, conducted an interview with me today. Keep an eye peeled, it should be published in a few weeks.
At one point during the interview I think I called Plato a dick. I'm sure that'll look great in print. My mom will be so proud.

"I am the Neil Armstrong of Boldface Type"
I recently did an interview with Edward Champion for his excellent lit blog.
Discover how a short story writer for an indie press can make more money than the kids in "High School Musical" and how I'm not afraid of my affiliation with boldface type.

LEO Interview
The LEO Weekly recently ran a great interview with me. If you aren't in the Louisville area and can't pick up a copy, you can check it out online.
Warning: There is a HUGE picture of me. If you are scared of guys with big noses and glasses, steer clear.

HTMLGIANT Interview
Literary super-blog, HTMLGIANT, recently ran an interview with me. Read it in full here:

Here's a taste:
Q--Your work has been characterized as “darkly absurdist.” Is that accurate? What does it mean for writing to be absurdist or bizarro? Can those terms be used interchangeably?
A--I’ve been called much worse, that’s for sure. I use a lot of sarcasm and satire and dark humor in my writing and people draw their own conclusions. I’ll take whatever you want to call me, especially “Shakespearian”. I think if people started calling my work Shakespearian, my parents wouldn’t be so embarrassed about the book’s title.
