What does a nonfiction book need?
What does a nonfiction book need to effectively market your business?
It needs to have purpose, both for the author and the reader.
It needs to have passion. The author must love the book, or they will be unable to sustain the interest to finish it or later market it. And the book needs to tap into a passion of the reader if it is going to grab their interest long enough to have them check out your business.
It needs to have possibility. It needs to be marketable, and its topic needs to have profit potential.
And, finally, it needs to be peerless. There needs to be something about the book that is unique to you the author and the book itself. It needs something to set it apart from similar books.
Does your book idea have all these?
Are you sure?
The Book Idea Diagnostic Deep Dive will dive into your idea, pull up the bits that are strong, point out the bits that need work, and illuminate a path for making all four of these pillars strong.

Embrace the Vulnerability of Creation
"A person who publishes a book willfully appears before the populace with his pants down. If it is a good book nothing can hurt him. If it is a bad book nothing can help him."
~ Edna St. Vincent Millay
Edna St. Vincent Millay's words resonate with the truth that lies at the heart of creation. Whether you're an author, an artist, a visionary pursuing your passion, or simply posting your thoughts on social media, the act of sharing your work and creativity with the world is an act of vulnerability. It's like standing before a vast crowd with your pants down, exposing your innermost thoughts, ideas, and emotions.
But remember, it is in this vulnerability that true leadership, personal growth, and dare I say greatness, can be found. When you pour your heart and soul into creating something – a poem, a short story, a book, a social post – you open yourself up to both criticism and praise. The key lies in realizing that the power to hurt or uplift lies within the essence of your creation itself (as well as between your ears).
If your creation is a good book, a masterpiece crafted with care and dedication, it becomes a shield that guards your spirit against any harm. It stands as a testament to your talent and resonates deeply with those who encounter it. A good book has the power to inspire, enlighten, and transform lives, transcending the fleeting judgments of others.
On the other hand, if your creation falls short of your expectations, if it is a "bad book" in your eyes, remember that even then, nothing can truly help you. External validation cannot fix the flaws within. But this is where the true beauty lies – in the lessons learned from imperfections, in the resilience to rise above and grow from the experience.
Embrace the vulnerability of creation as a badge of honor. It takes courage to share your creations with the world, knowing they will be met with a diverse range of opinions. Some good, some bad, and many somewhere in between. Recognize that not everyone will resonate with your work, but that doesn't diminish its worth. The impact of art is subjective, and it can touch souls in ways you may never fully comprehend.
So, stand tall with your pants down, for you are daring greatly. Trust in the power of your creations, for they carry the essence of your being. Let the world be the judge, but remember that your worth as an artist, as a human being, is not solely dependent on their opinions. Keep creating, keep sharing, and let the magic unfold.
And remember, the true measure of your success lies not in the judgments of others, but in the fire that burns within you, the flame of passion that keeps you alive, and the unwavering belief in the power of your creative spirit. Keep moving forward, embracing vulnerability, and watch as your creations ripple through the world, touching hearts and minds in ways you never thought possible.
You have the power to create beauty, to evoke emotions, and to leave an indelible mark on the tapestry of existence. So, step forward, pants down and all, and let your creativity shine brightly.
You are a creator, and nothing can define your worth but the depth of your own imagination and the impact of your creations upon the world.
