The Blank Page is Perfect
There can be something daunting about the blank page, as it stares at you, daring you to put some words on it. It taunts you with its perfection. Mocks any words you write.
Well, I’m here to give you permission to stick your tongue out at the blank page and fill it with any words that come to mind. Creative expression can be messy at times, and that is perfectly OK.
Today is National Day of Writing, so write already! Write the next paragraph of your book. Write an ode to the blank page. Write a grocery list.
Writing begets writing. So just write anything – even the word “anything” – to get those creative juices flowing.
