#MySexySaturday Brats Gone Wild!

I usually feature my own books for My Sexy Saturday, but I contributed a bonus story to my pal Candi Cade's smutty new box set so I've decided to talk about it today.

If you're an author, there's a good chance you've written a book that just didn't take off. Me? I've written a lot of them. But this summer I wrote a pretty taboo novelette called Forbidden Folk. Oh my goodness gracious, I love this story. It's so deliciously illicit in a way that's different from other taboo fiction. My girl Winter was raised by her mother and the two other members of her mother's folk trio. They're not related and they're not technically family but it still feels... titillatingly naughty.

Anyway, like I said, the book fell flat on its face as far as sales were concerned. Which is a real shame because it's damn good. When Candi Cade asked if I'd like to provide a bonus story for her taboo collection, I sent her Forbidden Folk because I wanted to get this story into the hands of smut lovers.

(And I have every confidence that lots of people will read it now, considering Candi's Brats Gone Wild box set is currently priced at $0.99!)

Here are seven short paragraphs from Forbidden Folk:

But Steven wasn’t actually my parent. As much as I viewed him as a father, growing up, he never was. Not truly.

“Steven?” I asked.

His hand cocooned mine. “Yes, Winter?”

“Did you ever think about…?”

He turned onto his side, so his chest was so close it grazed my tender nipples. When he spoke, I felt his breath against my lips. “Think about what, Winter?”

I couldn’t ignore the throb between my legs. I couldn’t fight it any longer. I barely had to move to kiss him, and that’s just what I did. Or did he kiss me? We moved for each other’s mouths simultaneously, opening to one another. His tongue swept mine into a frenzy as we gave in to the desire my mother had forbidden. She must be spinning in her grave.

“Wait,” Steven said, pulling his mouth from mine. “Winter, are you sure this is what you want?”

If you've got $0.99 to spare, grab a copy of Candi Cade's Brats Gone Wild and you can read her salaciously spicy stories in addition to mine: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O4S4MDU?tag=dondes-20

I Do My Best Blogging at Oh Get A Grip!

I don't think I've mentioned this lately, but I blog every other Thursday at a kick-ass blog called Oh Get A Grip!

The contributors to this site are so spectacularly brilliant that I really work my brain when I post there. If you know me, you know I'm too honest for my own good, but I'm especially forthright when I'm blogging at The Grip!

You can read my most recent blathering today:
Another Post About How I Have No Idea What I'm Doing
Every fortnight we take on a different topic, and our current topic is:
Perspective. 1st Person? 3rd Person? What do you write? What do you prefer?
Trust me: you'll keep coming back to The Grip because contributors are so astute. We're talking people like Lisabet Sarai, Sacchi Green and Annabeth Leong. I feel like I should list everyone because I'm leaving out so many incredible writers. Just visit the site. You'll see. These people are so smart. Oh, I just love them all.

I've Dropped My Pants! I Mean... PRICES...

It's been one of those useless days where you're living in your mind and accomplishing nothing in the real world. I stayed up late watching a tremendous film called BOY, which made me laugh so hard and then cry so hard and then I slept for 14 years and now it's now.

Why did I start this blog post?  Oh yeah--prices!  I've dropped the prices on a whole bunch of short ebooks on Amazon.  You can now get some awesome fiction for the low low price of $0.99!  For reals!

How many short stories are we talking about?  Like 80 or something. Or maybe 50. Or 75.  I lost count, but I know it's a lot.  So I'm not going to link to them all or it would take another 14 years and the rest of this post would just be a wall of links.

Actually, the easiest way to find some deals is probably to click through from my lovely Giselle Renarde Erotica aStore and hit the link in the store's sidebar that says "Giselle's Sexy Shorts." There are like 8 pages of short stories. They're not all $0.99 (in fact, looking at it now, the first two and the fourth are not), but many are, so feel free to get lost in there!

What should you be looking for if you're browsing for deals?  Generally speaking, ebooks with the following styles of covers are likely to be under a dollar:

Happy hunting!

A Tale of Fur and Flesh Now Available IN PRINT!

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived an author called Giselle Renarde. One day, Giselle decided to write an erotic novella based on a strange fairy tale called Allerleirauh. Allerleirauh is very hard to spell (and is probably spelled incorrectly in this post because Giselle is too lazy to look it up at the moment) so Giselle named her character Lally.

When Princess Lally's mother dies, her father locks himself away for ten years. He emerges as a very different man... whose mind is set on marrying his daughter.

What's a princess whose father wants to marry her to do? Lally flees to a forest filled with shapeshifters. By the way, she likes having sex with shifter dudes (but what princess doesn't?). Which is lucky because her mother's enchantment lasted well after her death. The forest creatures would do anything for their late queen, including giving up their pelts for Lally to cloak herself during those dark forest nights.

And then there's some romance stuff. Bibitty-bobitty-boo.

The book is called A Tale of Fur and Flesh. The ebook is published by eXcessica, and now you can get the paperback from CreateSpace: https://www.createspace.com/5010480

In a few days you should be able to find A Tale of Fur and Flesh at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. October's coming! Time for a shapeshifter fairy tale romance!Giselle Renarde

#MySexySaturday Teach Me! Six Scandalous Sex Stories

This week's My Sexy Saturday theme is characters who can't keep their hands off each other. Perfect, because just yesterday a new box set came out that includes my work, and it's all about barely-legal students and their sexiest teachers--younger women and older men whose lust is totally taboo!

If you've read Like It's 1999, you know I have experience in this realm.

My story in Teach Me! Six Scandalous Sex Stories is called "A Mistress' Christmas" and it's about a university student who may or may not be in love with her professor.

Here are 7 paragraphs:

I flicked the light switch and the room became very dark. Mid-winter, Canadian nights begin even before the day is out. I made my way over to straddle him in his chair.

“Close the blinds,” he pre-empted.

Did it matter, with the lights already off, if the blinds were closed or not?

But it was not for me to judge Winston’s desire for discretion. After all, I was not the married one. I closed the blinds and made my cautious return to him in pitch blackness.

Leaning into Winston’s hard body, I kissed the aromatic softness of his left cheek, lingering close. His stoicism made me wild with desire. I kissed his right cheek, breathing heavily against his flesh. He made no sound, no motion.

When I leaned in to kiss his lips, Winston caught my head in his hands. In a cavernous whisper, he told me, “You’ve left my office too many times with your lips raw and red. People will catch on.” It could easily have shattered my heart when he said, “I’m not going to kiss you today.”

But it didn’t. It was incredibly arousing, knowing that in a moment Winston would flip me around and press my front against volumes and papers on his solid desk. With none of the caring preliminaries, he would toss my skirt up over my ass and fuck me in absolute darkness.

Teach Me! is now available at the promotional introductory price of $0.99 at

Congratulations! It's A Store!

Many moons ago, I created a store--an A Store, to be precise.  And then I forgot about it.  The years flew by. I wrote some books. Then, earlier today, I rediscovered it.  It contained 7 items, give or take.  I revamped it.  I added categories, like novels I've written, sexy shorts, anthologies, box sets.  I filled it with my work. And now this baby bird's ready to fly.

What's A Store... or an A Store or an a-store or whatever I'm supposed to call this thing?  Well, in my case it's a bookshelf powered by Amazon. Some love it, some hate it, but as a writer a huge chunk of my income is derived from Amazon so I'm not going to let this post devolve into a bitchfest.

Ooh, that was close.  I almost bitchfested. But I stopped myself.  Because lots of people like to buy books from Amazon, and now you/they/anyone/everyone can buy my books right on this very website.

Do you see up above where it says "Want to Buy Stuff? Here's A Store"?  If you click there, you'll see my Giselle Renarde Erotica shopfront. It's cute. You should check it out.

Here's the link: http://donutsdesires.blogspot.ca/p/want-to-buy-stuff-heres-store.html

And if that's at all weird in your browser, here's the store's direct link: http://astore.amazon.com/dondes-20

Update: Bali Nights is now FREE at Amazon

I earlier reported that my Xcite novel Bali Nights is free at iTunes and Amazon UK for the month of September. Thanks to you wonderful people and your spectacular tell-us-about-a-lower-price reporting skills, Amazon has price-matched. Y'all must be craving a beach read, because it's currently #20 in free lesbian erotica and I haven't even announced it yet.  If you haven't snagged yourself a copy, let's get me to #1!
Click here to get Bali Nights FREE at Amazon!
Erotic romance by Giselle Renarde explores lust and sexual fantasies on the sandy shores of Bali...
Do Beach Boys really exist? They’re said to be hot young surfers who sell their bodies on the sandy shores of Bali—and not to other men, oh no. Beach Boys specialize in seducing women.

According to Kimmy, Beach Boys are not only real, but they’re Bali’s top tourist attraction. And she should know, considering she hired one last time she vacationed there. How she convinced co-worker Shandra to fly halfway around the world just to pay a guy for sex, Shandra will never know… until their first day in Bali, when she falls for Man: tall, dark, handsome, and on the make.

There’s something different about Man—he’s nothing like the guys back home. Shandra can tell him things she’s never shared with anyone, shed her inhibitions, and abandon herself to the best sex of her life. Now she understands why Kimmy was so anxious to return to her Beach Boy, Budi.

With Man’s encouragement, Shandra surrenders to a lust for men (and women) she’s long denied. But there’s more to a Beach Boy than meets the eye. Are Budi and Man really as trustworthy as Shandra and Kimmy think, or will their secrets shatter the girls forever?
