Over time scenes started to appear in my mind, and I became intrigued by how someone became an actor in that time period. However, I am definitely more a character driven writer than a plot one, so 'Airy Nothing' only started to truly take shape once John, and all the issues he faced, came alive for me.(less)

This book always makes me feel incredibly emotional. Ash and Eu are perfect in their messiness and their teenage friendship and angst is conveyed in heartbreaking rawness in the art of this graphic novel.
