Things That Make You Go What the Woof?
Things that make you go ‘What the Woof?’. I’m hanging with mom watching TV and this commercial comes on for a kitty litter claiming to block odor for seven days.
The scene is a woman is entertaining some friends in the living room, they’re hanging on the sofa talking. All of a sudden the host pulls out a dirty kitty litter box from under the coffee table, where she’s hidden it, and places it on the table.
All the woman are oohing and awwing over the fact that they had no idea the kitty litter b...

A Tale Of Two Dogs
Happy 5th B-Day Bethany! Today is Bethany’s 5th b-day, but it is so much more than that. It’s a good day for me to make folks aware of puppy mills.
As most of you know we have Bethany and Goliath. It’s really a tale of two dogs.
Goliath was bought by a guy from a breeder. Not a puppy mill. Although the guy decided to give Goliath up because he was never home he really did love him. As a matter of fact, he still emails mom for updates. Goliath has never known anything but kindness, fun, and love...

Don’t Bite The Hand That Feeds You
Bethany, our puppy mill girl who we adopted four months ago was having some food issues. Mostly she wouldn’t eat. She was extremely skinny so mom was pretty freaked out and started to try everything under the sun. Switched dog foods, added in special stuff (baby food, dog gravy, cheese, you name it), fed her under the bed where she feels safe, but nothing.
Finally after much love, patience, and many recipes mom got it right. Bethany started eating again. Mind you she doesn’t normally cook but...

Taking The Dog For A Walk
Goliath takes Kensy on a walk with a leash. Someone is having a better time than the other in this video. Can you guess who?
Dog Turns Owner Over to Police
When my father rolls in at midnight after boys’ night out, I don’t bark to alert my mother of his arrival. I wait, knowing he’ll dig into the fridge for something to eat. Sure it might be a week old plate of spaghetti or a plate of tuna salad from an era long gone by, but like him I’m not proud, just hungry.
When my sister Moose captures a mouse, chews its head off and brings it into the house, I don’t bark a thing. It’s not my place. My place is in the corner, to watch my mot...

Help Goliath Walk Without Pain
A message from my friend Kensy at the Good Dogma Company. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Goliath is a Bernese Mountain dog who is our foster failure. He is four years old and desperately needs knee surgery to help him walk and get out of pain.
Goliath is our fourth Bernese Mountain dog we have adopted from the Bernese Auction Rescue Coalition. He actually came to us when we were contacted by the rescue because his owner wanted to relinquish him. We had just lost our first puppy mill boy, Lo...
