Tea

Tea is basically the best!! I'm a big fan of Constant Comment and Green Tea, but my favorite tea of all time is Genmaicha. Roasted rice in tea is so good!!

We're still buried under work so once again I'm keeping it short - there's a ton of cool stuff in the store, see you next week!

Follow-up to last week's comic - sometimes Cricket forgets where she is. Oops!

Also - the game that Conrad's been working overtime on the past year is finally available to play! It's called Guns of Icarus Online, and it's all about team-based airship combat. Here's a link to the game on Steam - you can watch the trailers and look at some screenshots. Here are a few:

Cover design!

We're working hard to get through this huge backlog of work. Here's something Yuko's been having a go at this week - the cover for volume 3. We previously talked about some of the thumbnails here and the title page here. 

Ghostcat t-shirts are back in stock in the store, if you missed your chance the first time around! We've also restocked CMYcat, and the new Coffee Loves Coffee mug is waiting to be your constant morning companion:

Wigs!

If Rook rolls over, he wants us to rub his belly; if Cricket rolls over, she's just baiting us!! Then she acts all indignant and just stares at us, or runs off in a hurry. What a goofy cat. 

In last week's comic Yuko found a wig that looked like her hair; we didn't realize it but one of the store owners if someone we see at shows from time to time! Birdy sent us a very nice e-mail with a link. I happened to browse around their store and whoa - there's an immaculate wig for every season. But my favorite part is the naming scheme for the wigs, go take a look! My favorite might be Second Breakfast Barefoot Burglar, but then there's also Diamond Pants Hurt Feelings and Moonlight Princess Saxophone Riff.

Here's a tip based on my years of experience doing comics on the internet ... if you make a comic ... you have to post it so people can see it. On an unrelated note, this process post was done Wednesday and I'm an idiot!!

Back from NYCC!

Hey everyone! We're back from NYCC and this is a story from the weekend, just for you. Thank you to everyone who came by and said hello and for all you who perservered in finding us at our difficult location - thank you so much! 

We're getting back to the grind! In meantime - there are new t-shirts and a mug in the store! And we're hard at work on JW:V3, which I'll have an update on this Thursday. See you then!

No second update this week - we got a little swamped. We're doing NYCC this weekend at the Benign Kingdom table, booth 166 in the main showroom! Come by and say hey!
