Patti Callahan Henry
“Cheating and lying aren't struggles, they're reasons to break up.”
Patti Callahan Henry, Between the Tides

“I can't bear the thought of living an entire lifetime on this planet and not getting to do all the things I dream of doing, simply because they aren't allowed. I don't think it will ever be enough, this version of freedom, until it is all-inclusive. I don't think I can be happy unless I'm truly independent.”

Amiri Baraka
“There is no justice in America, but it is the fight for justice that sustains you”

“Billions of people have traveled and continue to travel the other path, and it grows wider every year....The trouble is that on this wide path, you don’t end up at awesome. You just end up at old. This path is called 'average'.”
Jon Acuff, Start: Punch Fear in the Face, Escape Average and Do Work that Matters

Sarah Addison Allen
“She'd wanted the attention, she'd wanted more people to know her gift, as if the more people who knew, the more real it would be.”
