V-Con!

Janet and I are crossing the Salish Sea to Vancouver for a few days, and will be taking in V-Con which is always a bundle of fun. Hope to see you there.

Maps galore!

If you are a frequent visitor to this site, you may notice a new entry in the index. Anthony Damasco, my webmaster, and his coworkers at E-Reads, have posted maps from about 10 of my e-books. More will follow. You can expand them to make them legible! You can print them out to keep by you as you read the books on Nook or Kindle. And you can browse maps of worlds you haven't visited yet, from books that you can BUY!!!

I think this is a great idea. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Shiver their timbers!

Piracy is a huge threat to the e-book industry. Some people just cannot understand that authors (not to mention editors, publishers, booksellers &c) are real people with homes and families and a need to eat. I was very happy to learn that my e-titles are now being defended against thieves, and the service is available to other authors. Check it out here.
