What tickles me most about this cover? That’s not stock photography. I took that picture, just before dawn on the Disney Fantasy, as we were coming in to port at Castaway Cay.
So I’m pretty proud of this cover.

Playing with making memes
I figured I’d try it and see what the reception was like for making memes of quotes from my books. This one went out last night. I’ve got more for Written in Water, and if it goes well, I’ll start pulling from the backlist.

Just a little distracted
This past weekend was the Central Florida Highland Games. Which means that I haven’t so much as looked at my laptop since Thursday. However, a good time was had by all, WAY too much coquito poundcake was eaten, and I was told I looked like a Renaissance Jedi.

I realized that I really do have to get back to updating the blog more frequently. I fell out of the habit over the holidays. Bad writer. No biscuit!

Ummm… hi…
Been absent a while. Part of it was that right after I finished writing Written in Water, and immediately after I printed the manuscript for editing, my laptop died. Near as we can tell, the motherboard went, and took the SSD with it. When we took the SSD and mounted it in another computer, there was no there there. I had just backed up my files, so I didn’t lose anything but some old emails (because I had to forget to back up just one thing…)
