Romance Writer’s Weekly: Cookiepocalypse Now!

Hi! You might be arriving from Leslie’s place, or you just jumped in from Romance Writer’s Weekly and I’m your first stop. Welcome to my kitchen. Pull up a chair, because it’s that time again! December, when Liz loses her mind and bakes all the things. If you’ve been with me a while, you know this is called Cookiepocalypse. If you follow me on Instagram, you get the pictures as I bake.

Now, I finished Blood Bound (my BDSM Vampire novel) Sunday night, so I have time to bake this year. But let’...

Romance Writers Weekly: Two Days until Thanksgiving!

Hello, and welcome in! Thanks for hopping over from A.S Fenichel’s blog. Have you all checked out her new book?

Two day to Thanksgiving, and I’ve been cooking to get ready for it since last Friday. I am Puerto-Rican/Italian, and I grew up surrounded by my Italian relatives. So I grew up to be a foodie, and there is the understanding that food = love. If you love someone, you cook for them. My husband is fond of telling people that when we got married, I didn’t know how to cook for just two...

Works in Progress, Week Fifteen (and one day)

I’m late. I know. There’s been drama. It’s fairly localized drama, and it seems to be resolving, but it meant that I was dealing with OMGDRAMA and not writing. So it’s been a slow word week.

Flesh and Blood, Book 1

Bones of Earth
Heir to the Firstborn, Book 3

46587 / 95000 (49.04%) And because it’s Thanksgiving week, it will be an even more slow word week, because I can’t write and cook at the same time. I’m doing the Romance Writer’s Weekly...

Little bit of a slow working week this past week. The Teach in was Tuesday, and I spent most of Monday prepping for it, and most of Wednesday recovering! My day at school started at 8:30, and ran until 4:45!  I spoke to five periods of ELA (6th through 8th grades) and one period of Creative Writing, and it’s a good thing that I brought my new presentation AND las...

A good, productive week this past week. The words are flowing well in both cases, and I’m pretty pleased with my progress.  Blood Bound is on track to be done by mid-December, I think.  I’ve started running it through the ERWA Storytime list, and the crits have been awesome so far. Bones of Earth is running on the Patreon, and comments there have been fun.

Tomorrow, I get to...

Romance Writer’s Weekly: What’s in Your Spotify?

Hello to everyone in the audio radiance! Welcome to my spot on the web. Now, if you’ve never been here before and are jumping in from Brenda Margriet’s blog,  just go on and make yourself comfortable while I introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Liz. I write Erotic Romance science fiction and fantasy, and I write New Adult fantasy romance. I’m probably best known for my Steampunk BDSM novel House of Sable Locks.

Here on my blog, I tend talk a lot about writing and my works-in-progress. Accountability helps keep me on targ...

Good writing week all around, even if I did have some writing in reverse with Blood Bound.  (I cut something along the lines of four hundred words from chapter one, after running it through the Erotica Readers and Writers Association crit group. They’ve never steered me wrong, and I love them for it.)

Bones of Earth took off this week —  over seven thousand words written, and a...

Progress! (Yes, even if it isn’t a lot of progress. The number lines moving upwards is progress.) At this rate, I’ll be finishing up Blood Bound by Christmas, as is my usual writing schedule. Bones of Earth will continue until morale improves/everyone learns to swim  it’s finished. And I’m not going to START anything else until both Bones of Earth and Wings of Air are finished. I thin...
