Sam Middleton is an English author of science fiction and fantasy, best known for Eluthienn, an epistolary epic and the first in his ongoing series A Tale of the Fromryr. A graduate of the University of Sheffield with a BA in English Literature, Sam draws inspiration from gothic classics like Dracula and Frankenstein, blending their forms with his love of epic fantasy.

He is also the creator of Of Strange Worlds and Stranger Tales, a collection of interlinked and standalone speculative stories, including The Lazarat Moon, a novella set in the Fromryr universe.
