Nightmare
As a writer, the worst thing for me is an empty page. Sitting down to start a book is sometimes overwhelming. You see the little cursor blink and blink and blink...and you wonder if you're ever going to fill those pages with something people would like to read.
If you're lucky, the words begin to flow and one page turns into 300+ pages. If you're really, REALLY lucky, what you come up with is something that will grab people's attention and entertain them. That's always my goal. I just want people to enjoy what I write as much as I enjoy writing it.

So many voices!
I wonder if every writer has this "problem":
I have at least 3 different books going on in my head. That means, I have AT LEAST 6 different characters trying to have conversations in my head. Maybe it's just me and I'm a little "off". ;) Those characters are vying for my attention, but I try to stick with one book at a time so I don't mix anything up.
It's not a bad problem to have, because I'm hoping that once I get to the other characters, they'll still be talking to me.
Right now, Eve, Lainey and Adam have my undivided attention. Next up, Anala, Sam and Amanda. Then....Blaise and Grayson. It's getting crowded!

Dream a little dream
My most productive writing days usually come after having expressive dreams. Luckily, I had a good dream last night.
I often wonder how other writers write. Do they outline the entire book, or do they sit in front of the computer/typewriter/paper and just write? I also wonder what the most difficult part of writing is for other writers. For me, believe it or not, it's names. I think, for the most part, I'm happy with the names I came up with for my characters.
Today's blog is brought to you by the letter "R" for Random. Just random thoughts before digging in and writing.
See you after another chapter or so of Flawed Perfection!

MyTunes
I love jamming to music while writing. Often times, it helps me find the inspiration I need. For instance, if you've read Something About Eve, there's a scene in a club...the song that is playing in my head during that scene is Paulina Rubio's "Fire (Sexy Dance)".
From Destined to Kill, Anala's song is "Rescue Me" by Kerrie Roberts.
And, for Flawed Perfection, the song is "Clarity" by Zedd ft. Foxes.
Back to Eve and Lainey. They have been bugging me all day. Guess I should pay attention to them.

I'm baaack!
I took some time off from writing, and...well...basically everything except reading. Sometimes you just need a break, and gather your thoughts. It's been a good break, and I'm ready to get back to it!
Destined to Kill is doing well, and Something About Eve has picked up steam since the new cover. Which is awesome since the sequel, "Flawed Perfection" is coming very soon!
I'm always looking for reviewers for Destined to Kill...so, if you're interested, let me know and I'll send you a file (.mobi, .ePub or .pdf) in exchange for an honest review! Help me get this book out there! Please and thank you!

Flawed Perfection
Flawed Perfection, the sequel to Something About Eve, is finished! Now, all I have to do is work on the cover, edit it and have it formatted. :)
I have to admit to being a little sad that this story with Eve, Adam and Lainey is over, but, I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I hope that when it comes out, you will be happy with it, too.

Cover - Flawed Perfection
I have come up with the cover for Flawed Perfection! Finally! Now, I just have to put it all together, get FP formatted, and then...release it! Yippie! I'll do a cover reveal soon...
Covers are always difficult for me. It needs to define the inside of the book, as well as be appealing to everyone. This one spoke to me after an extensive search. I'm happy with it. I hope you all will enjoy it, too.
