Wednesday WIP!

Happy Hump Day everyone! We did it! It's the middle of the week! YAY! Believe me, when you've been playing Barbie and Harry Potter and making what feels like at least 7 meals a day for two always hungry girls, getting to Wednesday is a miracle!

So today I thought I'd let you into a little WIP (work in progress) news! There is some progress, despite the school holidays!

The novel I'm working on at the moment used to have a working title of Going South, because it's set inside the country music w...

Do You Remember? - Classics

My heroine in Do You Remember? is Emma Barron. Emma starts off as an English A-Level student studying Chaucer, Bram Stoker's Dracula and Jane Austen.

Chaucer

I studied Chaucer at school and I have to say I hated it! I couldn't get my head around the Old English or the supposed humour of the work which had my English teacher giggling insanely at times...well he was a bit crazy! It's a little bit odd then that I've mentioned him quite a lot in one of my novels (Chaucer not my English teacher). I...

Do You Remember? - Footballers

My hero of Do You Remember? is Guy, a pro-footballer playing for France and the fictional UK premier league team, Finnerham United.

The footballer that got me all hot under the collar was David Ginola. There's something about a Frenchman. Is it the je ne sais quoi? Or perhaps the va va voom? Well, in this picture it's definitely the pants!

So, share the footballer that makes you dribble and let me know who you'd let into your box!

All comments will be entered into the draw to win my leopar...

Do You Remember? - Holiday memories!

Do You Remember? is part-set in France where Emma is holidaying at the campsite where Guy works.

As most of you know, my favourite holiday destination is Corfu! It's the sun, the sea, the greenery, the beaches and the wonderful Greek people! The last couple of years we've been staying in a small village called Agios Spyridon in the north east of the island. It really is idyllic!

So I'd like to hear what your favou...

IN THE SACK...with Sue Fortin!

This week on In The Sack I have the wonderful author and my BFF, Sue Fortin!

Sue Fortin writes women’s fiction; contemporary, suspense and time-slip, all with romance and a touch of danger.

Wine, sweat and cheers! RNA Conference 2013

Despite still having the cold/hayfever/swine flu I developed en route to Sheffield I am back at my desk to sum up the wonderful RNA conference I attended at the weekend!

[image error] Bono and the others are mortified they left David Howell Evans in charge of the U2 tribute stone

Having missed my celebration news, when my deal with Harper Impulse was announced, while I was sweating in the car on the motorway, things could only get better. Wine and the Romaniacs was the way to go! Giving us a strip of grass t...
