Happy pub day to LITTLE NIGHTMARES: THE LONELY ONES

I love the Little Nightmares video games, and it was thrilling to bring the atmosphere and mystery of the series to the written page. Thank you to Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Scholastic for trusting me with such an intricate and compelling world. I hope all the other LN fans out there read and enjoy this original story. If you do, please consider telling your friends, requesting it from your library, and leaving a review. And don’t forget to pick up Little Nightmares III on October 10...

Sometimes the adventure chooses you

I missed the announcement in Publishers Lunch, but FYI: I wrote a Choose Your Own Adventure! It’s called Kaiju Gaga, a book for younger readers about a romp through a museum where a movie prop egg cracks and a real-life baby monster emerges.

CYOA was a big part of my childhood, and young me never could have dreamed I would get to write one. I hope when this book debuts early next year, YOU will choose this adventure! I promise that it’s monstrous fun for kids and kaiju enthusiasts.

Gamers Pub Day!

Gamers: Attempting Connection is out today! If you are a gamer, or the parent of a gamer, or just game-curious, please pick this one up wherever books are available (including and especially your local library). Of all the books I’ve had published so far, writing this one felt the most like play.

In addition to being an author, I’m a parent, and a gamer, and a live streamer—and Gamers brought all of those diverse experiences together. I would love to make video games too, but at least in this bo...

Stream Team Pub Day!

Image of book cover with the text

The Stream Team #1: Battle Squad is out today! It should be available wherever books are sold, or you can request it from your local library. This was a fun book to write with NickEh30 and the team at Andrews McMeel Kids, and I hope kids (and kids at heart) enjoy reading about Teddy, Stackz, Tina, and Yuri.

Anyone who likes playing Fortnite or watching people play Fortnite, or streaming video games themselves should check out Battle Squad. But you don’t have to take my word for it: Publishers W...

Pre-order THE STREAM TEAM today!

My new middle grade novel The Stream Team: Battle Squad, written with Fortnite streamer Nick Eh 30 and illustrated by Ronaldo Barata, will be published next week on March 18 by Andrews McMeel Kids! This is a really fun story about a group of live streamers who band together to stop a global infection straight out of a video game, which turns regular people into “the Glitched.” Fortunately the kids end up with some super powers of their own, but it’s their personal strength, heart, and teamwork t...

The Lonely Way

My episode of The Sounds of Nightmares, “The Lonely Way,” is out today on YouTube and your favorite podcast platforms!

It was an honor and a joy to collaborate with writer and showrunner Lonnie Nadler and the BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe team in writing the conclusion to the first ever Little Nightmares audio drama. They are all amazingly talented storytellers and passionate about this beloved video game franchise.

The soundscape of the series is phenomenal—truly nightmarish—and
