My alter ego, Dirk Greyson, has a release coming on Monday, August 31. Challenge the Darkness ismy first paranormal story in quite a while. I wrote a shirt story in the Three Fates anthology with Amy and Mary. Before that I think we have to go back to the satyr stories I wrote when I first started writing. I have written two stories in the series so far and I hope to be able to continue it. In this story we meet Denton and Mikael, the alphas of two nearby packs who are threatened by a common enemy. When they … Continued

My Muse
I thought I would share this with all of you. A few years ago my sister went to a psychic reader with a friend. She had some questions that she wanted answers to. At some point during the reading, it was mentioned that she had two brothers. The psychic told my sister that her oldest brother was very creative and that he was a writer, which startled my sister a little because she hadn’t said anything about us. Then my sister told me that the psychic grinned and became quite excited. She told my sister that I was blessed and … Continued

Release Day – The Gift
Sometimes gifts are unexpected and sometimes they come at you from outof the blue and knock you over. Those are the ones you don’t see coming. In The gift, neither character is looking for love or expects to find it in any way. They both have issue, either inherited or based upon the decisions they made in life, that make them feel as though love, true love (The Princess Bride just flashed in my mind)is not something that is in the cards for them. This story was difficult to write the premise put a lot of restrictions on what I … Continued

A Sneak Peek – The Gift
In honor of the sale at Dreamspinner which ends July 31 at midnight, I wanted to give all my fans an advance sneak peek into The Gift which is releasing on August 10. I got to have a lot of fun writing this story. I have to confess that I’d been watching quite a few romantic movies when I was writing this story. :) I really hope you like it. Ember is a drop-dead gorgeous Las Vegas escort. He notices Alejandro in some of the classes he teaches at his side businessa yoga studio. Then, color-blind Alejandro further captures … Continued

Guest: Evie Collins – Fever and the Fox Book Blitz
Thanks for having me! My new book, Fever of the Fox, was an idea that sort of came to me through the characters. Growing up, I lived in an area that was essentially a melting pot of many different cultures, with friends from all sorts of different backgrounds. One on my closest grade-school friends was a Japanese-American girl whose house was like this amazing shrine to her parents homeland. I used to love going over there to play with her, especially outside in their beautiful garden. There was this cool little statue of a fox that I remember looking at … Continued

My Conference Odyssey – Close to the End
Hello from wonderful, energetic New York City. I am nearing the end of my three week conference odyssey that started about three weeks ago in Munich. I am at the RWA National Conference. The previous conferences in Munich and Tampa were reader conventions. This one is most definitely centered on craft. I have met some amazing authors. I set next to Amelia Grey and near Patience Griffith at the literacy signing. I got a signed book for my mother form Robyn Carr. I have attended workshops on building sexual tension and writing Killer Romantic Suspense. It’s been really awesome. I’ve … Continued

Convention Odyssey – Stop 2
In the last week, I have travelled a lot. The flight from Munich was long and I got to spend only part of a day with Dominic before heading to Baltimore to catch my flight to Tampa. You all know that I love Dominic. He’s the center of my life, but I am learning something with all this travel that I didn’t expect. I need Dominic to keep me sane and from splitting into lots of little pieces. At these conventions I am not alone and I am with people I care about and who take good care of me. … Continued
