Ft. Hood Disaster
As news pours in about the tragedy at Ft. Hood I want to remind everyone concerned that as much as it seems to be an isolated incident, in reality it is not. The day before Ft. Hood, a soldier I know who is currently deployed to Iraq, emailed with the news that several stabbings have recently occurred on our bases over there among our troops. Sgt. Patrick Rust
Sgt. Rust's remains were found in a field in 2007. Nobody has been arrested for murdering him and his cause of death remains unknown.

Army Specialist Anthony Wilder
Army Specialist Anthony Wilder was killed during a hazing at the hands of his superiors in Germany. Death as the result of a hazing is considered murder in the USA but nobody has been charged in Specialist Wilder's death. I've seen this young soldier's autopsy photos. In addition to the massive amount of alcohol poured down his throat he was also beaten severely.
