Where Should Auntie Heather Go on Tour?
Minions!!! How cool is this? My FANGtastic publisher is once again letting the Minion Horde decide on one city that should be one of my tour stops this fall. Salutations, Miion Horde! I am currently writing to you from a place that I have longed to be for a looooong time: HOME! In fact, I'll be home for the next five weeks, and I'm giddy at the thought of it! What Nobody Ever Tells You When You Decide You Want To Be An Author
I've never had an unrealistic view about what an author's life must be like. I always knew it would require hard work, late nights, and inconvenient travel. I also knew it would mean inspiring someone – even one person – to read (if I'd done my job, that is), and getting to spend my happily introverted days in front of a computer. I thought I had a pretty good idea of what it was like to be a successful author.

What's up with Auntie Heather?
Greetings, Minion Horde! Man, things have been busy lately. And in ways I never really expected. See, for the longest time, my life was pretty easy going. I'd get up each morning, put my daughter on the bus, sit down, and write until my family would come home at night. Every once in a while, I'd travel, but not very often. Now, I long for days like that. Much of my life is spent in airports, and too little of it is spent in my fangtastic office. There is no time to wait for the Muse to grunt ...
