Cover Goodness!
It's official! And oh boy- it's hot. Cat shifters anyone? Out December 6, from Carina Press. (Those boots? Straight out of the story.) I hope to have the cover copy soon as well… and, there should be another cover- for those of you who'd like to get the book in a bundle with the other paranormal stories. I'll show that as soon as I get it!

Mid Month Update
Here's my monthly update with what I'm working on, in visual format to start. First….

Um, yeah. I'm moving. Lock stock and barrel to…nowhere!
Actually, all my possessions, including the books from the keeper shelf are headed into storage (stay safe, guys!) and I and my family are headed into the camper and hitting the road. We'll be leaving Canada and hitting the west coast of the US, at least for the start of the journey. Plans are open ended, but we are very excited about this stage of the adventure.
What does this means? Well, I'll still be writing, only I'll be on the road. It also means that I might have a chance to get to meet a few more of you. I'll let you know when we settle in a major center for a few weeks, and there will be coffee shop gatherings! (AT bookstores, because…well, that's a part of touring the country, right? Checking out new bookstores?)
In the meantime, here's the current working list:

• A sekrit project (oooh, I heard the screams!!). Yes, I have a new one of them. This one includes a couple good friends also being shhhhh, but it's a HAWT one.

When he finally released her lips, Melina gasped for air, clutching his uniform for stability. It had always been like that with Davis, a no-holds-barred attack.

The stroke of a hand down his back reminded him Braden was still with them, and yet…he couldn't stop. All his focus was on Chelsea, on the pleasure he found in her, the pleasure he wanted to bring her.
"You should see what I see." Braden's deep voice rustled through the air. He touched them both, his hands skimming Jamie's side. Hovering where Jamie cupped Chelsea's breast. The contrast of their fair skin and Braden's darker coloring—his rougher, beefier hands—showed clearly. "You two look like erotic Greek statues, porcelain fine and breathtakingly beautiful."
Chelsea laughed softly as she snaked out an arm to catch Braden around the neck. "And you're Poseidon, rising from the sea to love us both?"
"Hmm, it's not difficult to love you, baby." He kissed her, lowering himself to lie skin to skin against Jamie's side. Jamie watched in fascination until Chelsea squirmed under him, pressing her breast up into his hand, and he shifted to be able to reach her easier. He nibbled and licked, listening to the soft noises of pleasure she made, hearing Braden's whispered words of love.

Damn. She shook her head and pushed through the cafeteria doors, clomping in her heavy boots toward their usual table. The swelling volume of voices drowned out her thoughts.
She should confess she'd heard their conversation, but what could she say without it being really awkward? In fact, doing anything about what she'd overheard seemed completely impossible.
If she knew which man she wanted to get involved with, it would be simpler. With her affections spread so evenly between them, that option was eliminated. In fact she couldn't imagine being with one and not the other.
Being with both of them? Together. Oh Lord, yes. As if she hadn't fantasized about that a million times as well.
Her face flushed hotter. The erotic books she'd read returned to her, and suddenly she wondered if she was brave enough to go through with the idea flashing through her brain. Their annual pre-Christmas ski trip away to another resort, just the three of them, was fast approaching. If she opened the door just a crack, what would they think of spending time getting to know her better—both of them?
Maybe if she introduced the concept of a ménage as a fantasy, asked them to help her out. She'd be able to see if there was a difference in the way her heart and body felt—see if she was more drawn to one than the other. In the meantime she'd be experiencing a dream come true.
If she could convince them to give it a try.
She stepped next to the table and they both turned their full attention her way. Darkness and light met her, in their eyes, their hair. Something inside her belly tingled with anticipation, and this time she let it build instead of beating it into submission.
Wanting them both wasn't wrong, she was sure of it. Wanting them both, together…that seemed more risqué.

Happy Birthday Jess!
I have another bit of information to share, but this is far too exciting to ignore. It's my Aussie buddy's birthday, and I NEED to celebrate with her.
She's been there ever since I was rude enough to go knocking on her email box and ask for her help. Which she graciously gave, because she's that kind of person. Jess, you mean the world to me, and someday I WILL be knocking on your door.
In honour of Jess's B-Day, I'm going to give away one of her books. Warning, she writes them HOT. But more than hot, emotion filled and OMG catch you in the heart. I think my favorite is…oops, it's one that's not out yet Okay, my favorite of the books she's got out is Photo Op. I love Only Tyler and Steve's Story, but Photo Op? Daniel
Since it's already Thursday ( in Australia) and only Wednesday (for me in Canada) I'll make the contest go until Friday. Just to be difficult

SOLD!
I'm pleased to announce that book 13 with Samhain will be out in mid 2011. Rising, Freestyle, is a partner story to Falling, Freestyle. It's set in the same mountain community, only this time instead of a ski resort, the characters have a background in rockclimbing.

Snippet Saturday- Last Loves
I'm taking a twist on the theme for today. Last Loves– there's a short mention here of Maxine's 'Last Love' (who was not really a love, but that's beside the point) and a short introduction to Ryan, who is her Last Love, in the big scheme of things.

"What might be awkward?" he asked, leaning back and enjoying the rich flavor of the drink and the view across from him. Her robe had loosened and the curve of her breasts teased him.
Max waved a hand. "This. The morning-after-sex thing. I thought it would be tense and uncomfortable but…it's not. It's right to be here." She lifted her gaze to meet his. "It's right to be here with you."
Ryan frowned. He felt the same, but what the fuck? "You keep saying things that confuse the hell out of me." Her expression clouded over and he hurried to reassure her. "I'm not talking about you and me. I agree, this feels wonderful, and the only thing that will make it better is when we head back to bed. But it sounds like you've never woken up at a lover's house before. Didn't you ever spend the night with your ex? Didn't anyone ever stay with you?"
She shook her head. "Jamie had a roommate and I did too, and it just never happened. The house Gramma gave me will be the first place I've lived on my own."
He kept forgetting how much younger she was than him. "For the record? Jamie is a fucking freak." When she opened her mouth he cut her off. "Don't defend him. Makes you take a shower before you make love? Only makes love in the dark, and then doesn't stay the night? Freak. Jerk. Asshole. Complete asshole."
Maxine giggled as Ryan held out a hand. He pulled her onto his lap and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. There was no way he'd had enough of her, in the bedroom or out of it. While part of him wondered what the hell he was doing, he couldn't stop feeding his new addiction for her. "Spend the weekend with me?"
