Authors4TheCure Donating Book Proceeds To Breast Cancer Research

Eleven authors have banded together to support breast cancer research with their writing. Authors4theCure, which includes award-winning and New York Times bestselling authors, as well as two breast cancer survivors, is donating proceeds from the sale of their paranormal anthology, Entangled, to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

BCRF-funded research has helped save lives and improved the quality of care and rate of survival for tens of thousands of breast cancer patients in the past decade. Their research has revealed that the "cure" is a mosaic made up of as many approaches to diagnosing, treating, preventing and surviving as there are different types of breast cancer. The anthology is also a mosaic made up of many stories donated for this worthwhile cause.

Entangled includes ten suspense-filled paranormal stories from authors Lori Brighton, Michelle Diener, Cynthia Eden, Jennifer Estep, Misty Evans, Nancy Haddock, Liz Kreger, Dale Mayer, Michelle Miles, and Edie Ramer, plus a novella by Allison Brennan. Stacia Kane contributed the foreword and the book's formatting and cover art were also donated to the project.

Thanks to Cousin Aaron (my cousin, not yours), who sent me this clip, we have a new and hilarious version of Beauty and the Beast, my favorite Disney movie! The maker, Wehoguy, is awesome! And let's hope he does another remake! Warning, there is cursing :)

How cool is that? Designer Laura Morrigan donated the cover and I just adore it! I believe most of the stories will be contemporary paranormal romance, but my short story will actually be a historical paranormal, staring Mary Ellen from A Night of Secrets. What's Next?

I get a lot of questions asking when my next book will be out. Since I'm self-publishing, its pretty much up to me, but I'm trying to be fair by going in order.

So...

Right now I'm working on the second book in The Ghost Hunter series. Book two will be called The Demon Hunter and should be out in November or December. This book will star Devon, who we met in The Ghost Hunter.

Second on my list will be book two of the Night Series. Book two will be called A Night of Redemption and will be out in late Spring of next year. Book two will star Beth (from book 1, A Night of Secrets).

Then, the second book in the Seduction series (To Seduce an Earl, book 1) will release in about 9 months to a year. Yikes! I know, its a long time. Sorry! The second book will star Gideon.

And finally, The Mind Readers, which is still the book I get the most questions about :) As you may or may not know, The Mind Readers is in N.Y. Yes... still.... That's the way of N.Y. They take forever. Because it sold to Brazil, I decided to get an agent and we decided to try and sell it to N.Y. so it could get to more readers. So basically The Mind Readers is tied up in N.Y. and will be for months. I have started work on book 2 and there will be a book 3 as well. So no matter what happens, if N.Y. buys it or not, the other two books will be published.

Of course I have plenty of other books just waiting to be written; historical romances, contemporary paranormal and young adult books.

The Ghost Hunter Goes to Brazil!

As I mentioned awhile back, I sold The Ghost Hunter, The Mind Readers and A Night of Secrets to Brazil. Well, just recently I noticed The Ghost Hunter on their site!

I have no idea what it says, nor do I really get the cover with the palm tree, but I don't mind! It's still fun to see!


In other news....



To Seduce an Earl will be available within the next week or so! This is the first full length Ebook I've written that is a straight historical, no paranormal. I'm eager to see what people think of Alex (who is most definitely not an earl) and Grace (who needs an earl to save her family). The book has a little humor, a little spice and a lot of emotion!

Of course I'll announce the release as soon as it's available and I'll probably give away an Ecopy or two ;)
