BOOM Products Review

I don't usually offer reviews of products (or books) on this blog, but recently I was so curious about a pro-age moisturizer I'd seen online that I requested products to review. And they sent me some!
The products in question -- BOOM! by Cindy Joseph.
The products they sent me were:
BOOMSilkBOOMSTICK ColorBOOMSTICK GlimmerBOOMSTICK GloBOOMCottonand BOOM Mask
Since "going gray", I have become more discerning of the products I use on my hair, face, and body. What drew me to the BOOM products was their promotion for "women who want to reveal their genuine beauty with an honest and realistic approach." BOOM is about using natural ingredients--not trying to cover-up your age, but instead, letting your true beauty glow. Click HERE for a list of ingredients in the BOOM products--made from beekeepers in Hawaii.
Yes, the products are more expensive than what you'll find in your average make-up and beauty isle, but after using the BOOM products for over a month now, I can honestly say that I LOVE them.
The products I love most are BOOMSilk, BOOMSTICK Color, and BOOMSTICK Glimmer.I adore BOOMSilk and use it on my face and hands. It is so silky and creamy, it feels like you're rubbing honey butter on your skin (without the greasy feel or sticky sweetness, of course.) And there is hardly any scent to the products, which I like as well.
My face is naturally more ruddy, so color isn't an issue, but I love BOOMSTICK Color on my lips, and I use BOOMSTICK Glimmer on my lips, cheeks, and eyelids. You need only apply a small amount so I'm hoping the 2 oz. portions will last at least 3-4 months, if not longer. And YES, I will be purchasing the named products above when they are gone. I love them THAT much!
If you are looking for natural products that enhance your natural beauty without trying to cover it up, then please check out Cindy Joseph's BOOM! products.

Book Preview ~ Where Hope Prevails

Where Hope Prevails, by Janette Oke and Laurel Oke Logan

When Beth Thatcher returns to Coal Valley, she has much to be excited about. She anticipates Jarrick's proposal of marriage and perhaps a spring wedding. The mine is expanding, and there are more schoolchildren than ever.

But the town's rapid growth brings many challenges. A second teacher is assigned, and Beth finds herself going head-to-head with a very different philosophy of education--one that dismisses religion and rejects God. Fearful for the children who sit under the influence of Robert Harris Hughes, Beth struggles to know how to respond.

At the same time, Beth wonders if Jarrick is considering a position at her father's company simply for her sake. Should she admit her feelings on the matter? Or keep silent and allow Jarrick to make up his own mind? Purchase the book HERE.

Bestselling author Janette Oke is celebrated for her significant contribution to the Christian book industry. Her novels have sold more than thirty million copies, and she's the recipient of the ECPA President's Award, the CBA Life Impact Award, the Gold Medallion, and the Christy Award. Book Preview ~ No Other Will Do

No Other Will Do, by Karen Witemeyer

Men are optional. That was the credo Emma Chandler’s suffragette aunts taught her and why she started a successful women’s colony in Harper’s Station, Texas. But when an unknown assailant tries repeatedly to drive the women out, Emma is forced to admit they might need a man after all. One who can fight. And there is only one she trusts enough to ask.

Malachi Shaw has finally earned the respect he's always craved by becoming an explosives expert for the railroad. Yet when Emma’s telegram arrives, he leaves his job behind and rushes to Harper's Station to repay the girl who once saved his life. Only she’s not a girl any longer. She’s a woman with a mind of her own and a smile that makes a man imagine a future he doesn’t deserve.

As the danger intensifies, old feelings grow and deepen, but Emma and Mal will need more than love to survive. Purchase Karen's book HERE.
