Children Who Love Jesus may be at risk of catching: A Bad Case of Stripes
[image error]
A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon is a favorite of my students and children.
We want our children to be fruit pots and bear the fruit of the spirit. They can’t if they have a bad case of stripes!
In the story Camilla Cream is afraid to say that she likes Lima Beans. In not eating them she catches a bad case of stripes. this disease causes her to wear or turn into whatever others say around her. A child may love Jesus but be afraid to stand up for Him. Camilla thought no one else liked Li

I did attend, and it was worth the wait for me. This year I went as an author and illustrator.
So did it meet my expectations? My answer truly, is that I had very little expectat

Something keeps eating my fruit!
It’s strawberry season, and to celebrate the release of The Little Pot book, we’ve planted strawberry plants in our own (little) pots. The plants have been doing great. They sit on my deck and have been blooming and bearing fruit. However, just as the flowers begin to turn into berries, they disappear off the stem. Bearing Fruit in The Emerald City

“Well Bust my Buttons, why didn’t you say that in the first place!”
You have to admit this is one of those lines that totally dates the movie. Isn’t it great that we don’t have to go through a door keeper like that to meet God. We sure feel that sometimes we have to repeat ourselves to Him again and again although, don’t we? It is all in how we perceive Him. This week we will deal a lot with perceptions. Mainly the ones we make of God and ourselves.
The first step to meeting God is opening the do
