Family Time – Happy 4th!
The fourth of July is a wonderful excuse to get together with friends and family for excursions to their backyard grill, and that’s exactly what I’m doing. We started off from Glasgow where I am at a conference, and took a windy trip through some of the lower highlands and yes, the famous Loch Lomond. It was incredible as the slideshow will demonstrate; what you don’t see is the cars and one other bus trying to squeeze past our big tour bus (or indeed, backing up to find some room) on the steep lanes. Why We Like Arya Best

I spent the weekend bowing down like we must all do to Season Three, Game of Thrones. A lot of great characters–and what’s more rare–a lot of great female characters.

Miley Cyrus Needs a Spanking (and not the sexy kind)

So I don’t know half the cultural references my fellow Lady Smut bloggers write about. When you have kids, your cultural references shift. I usually don’t have time to watch a whole movie and don’t watch reality TV and until recently one of the only stations we watched on a regular basis was the Disney Channel.
