Good morning, Blog Buds! Putting together promo for Sweet Bytes and thought you might find the Promo Letter amusing.  I send this to book reviewers to entice them to want to read and review the book.***

Hello!  .I am Kimber An, former blogging book reviewer, now an author with my third book coming out.  .
I was wondering if you would do me the honor of reviewing my novel, Sweet Bytes?  It is a Young Adult Paranormal with a strong romantic element, set in my home state of Alaska. This Editing Stage of SWEET BYTES is Complete

I just sent SWEET BYTES to my editor, so now I'm going to stay off the computer as much as possible for the next three days.  I have a strained neck/splitting headache and need to recover from that. I will be brainstorming promotional activities for the book's release in October while I'm off-line.  Also, I am posting at the Noble Young Adult  blog on Saturday. Gosh, I guess I'll blog about brainstorming promotional activities!  In any case, I'll check email a couple of times a day too.

Aww! Big Girls Now! My Americauna Chickens Lay Their First Egg!

I don't know who laid it, but they're from the same hatch so the other is sure to lay her own soon too.  The egg is light green, like in the picture. They may also lay light blue ones.

Editing, Keep Up On Facebook

Hey, Blog Buds, didn't mean to go silent, but I'm in edits for SWEET BYTES. I post an update on Facebook every time I finish a chapter, usually with a quote from the chapter.  Check me out there if you want to keep up on my progress.  Once this edit is done, SWEET BYTES goes to my Noble YA editor and she does her magic.  Then, it's back to me again.  In any case, we're still on for the October 17th release.

Only one more month until it snows!  Woooooo-hoooooo!  That's how you know you were born to be Alaskan, even you weren't born here, you know. I love waking up early in the morning to see newly fallen snow blanketing the great outdoors.

SWEET BYTES Edits Begin

Good morning, Blog Buds!   Weeeeell, I don't have time to squeeze in Sweetness and the Rogue Knight, 'cause now I have a new editor and edits to do for Sweet Bytes!  We're looking at a mid-October release date (not certain yet) so I need to get right on them.  Once I'm through that, I have major promo to put together for it.  So, I'm gonna be a busy girl.  I'm glad this didn't hit until after my children got settled in their new school year!  In fact, they're all doing well.  It's so quiet to only have two of them at home now.

By the way, just on the outside chance you're wondering, I made 'Toad in the Hole' for dinner.  It's the English breakfast dish from Emeril's There's a Chef in My World.  My family liked it and it made me think of a bunch of different ways to improve on it, so definitely a good recipe.  I'm going to use my own muffin recipe with it next time.
