Sugar Rush's First Amazon Review

Thanks, Nayu! Sugar Rush on Amazon  If you've read Sugar Rush, please consider saying so on Amazon, even if you didn't like it.  As a former book reviewer, I know readers buy based on negative reviews too.  So, bring it on!  Pretty please.  It's my dearest dream to have Sugar Rush banned somewhere, you know, like my Queen, J.K.Rowling.  Then, it'd be sure to sell!

A Glimpse into the Glamorous Life of an Author

I was just posting links between blogs before I planned to beg my daughter to critique Crushed Sugar for me and a bowl of oatmeal was dumped all over the kitchen floor.  This catastrophe resulted in three children bawling their eyes out.  One was the child who lost his breakfast (he'll make toast instead,) one was the child who colored the picture the oatmeal landed on and destroyed, and one child was the baby who was not allowed to crawl around in the oatmeal and play with it.

Did ya hear?  J.K. Rowling has her own theme park in Florida.  I'm not quite that famous yet.

Speaking of J.K. Rowling, my daughter (the one I'm getting to critique my YA stories for me) insists that I dress up as Mrs. Weasley for the premier of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.  She says I'm a dead ringer for that character, right down to the red hair and massive herd of offspring.

P.S. Crushed Sugar is a short story (or is it a novella) *prequel* to Sugar Rush.

I've been absolutely elated, but in the last hour I've moved to, "Ahhh! Anyone in the world can read my book now! What if Ophelia's too much of a Trekkie? What if Bianca's obsession with movie costumes is too over the top? What if there's too much cussing? What if I have to feed my children hot dogs for dinner tonight because I'm too freaked out to think up anything healthy?"
