SWEET BYTES Wordcount
20,250! I surpassed my goal for the day. I'd really like to break 25,000 by tomorrow and then take three days off the computer.

P.S. Hands hurt too much to do anything about the sidebar right now, but I thought I'd mention I'm about 17,000 in SWEET BYTES.

The Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
This isn't just a day off work or school. Ignorance is bliss until it bites you in the butt. Know your history. Martin Luther King, Jr's 1963 Speech

Nichelle Nichols, the first African American woman on the command bridge of a starship
.
Dr. Mae Jemison, the First African American woman in space
.
Oprah Winfrey, one of the most wealthy and influential women in the world
.
Will Smith, great-looking guy, massively hilarious, and a great dad
.
It's sickening to imagine what would have happened to these individuals' incredible talent if the Emancipation Proclamation never happened. I think the best way to pay tribute to Dr. King today is to fully explore your talents and use them to better the human experience in this world.

"Stake? I don't need a wooden stake. I'm a geek, you moron."
There's your quote for the day. After finishing Ophelia's first major butt-kicking scene, I needed to go over the outline and structure of the story again to make sure everything was still in balance. So, I didn't actually write story today. Chapter after next, Ophelia visits her grandmother in Seward. That's going to be a fun one to write. Grandma's obsessed with Dolly Parton, like Ophelia's into Star Trek, but her personality's more like Bianca. Oh, boy. Here's Dolly with Kenny Rogers, singing 'Love is Strange'- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kIc7ARl4HE
And here's Dolly's website- Dolly Parton

One-Fifth Through SWEET BYTES
I timed myself. I can crank out five pages in a half-hour. But, my hands hurt. I have other online stuff I need to do, like update my main site with my new reviews and stuff. But, my hands just hurt too much today.
