Top Tips to an Unstoppable Book Release

Unstoppable SR Johannes I'm delighted to welcome author S. R. Johannes back to my blog today with a wonderful post, celebrating the release of her latest novel, Unstoppable, and offering generous advice to the rest of us on how to make our own book releases "unstoppable." Thank you so much Shelli, and I know I shall refer back to this post over and again when my next book comes out.

Do authors have (irredeemable) favorites?

Jason Sizemore Featured Book Release: Irredeemable  June 16 to June 22 , 2014 IrredeemableBadge
I'm delighted to welcome author Jason Sizemore, author of Irredeemable, to my blog today. If you've seen the cover of his book, you'll know why I'm intrigued. Just what is that feather doing? And, as everyone knows, I love intriguing short stories. So I'm sure you'll understand why I might ask Jason this question:

Reviewing a few Christian books on my Texas trip

I'm still catching up on posting book reviews from my trip to Texas; still catching up on removing dandelions, washing clothes, cleaning dust, shopping for food etc too. But books are food for the brain aren't they? So grab a coffee and see which book from these you'd like to read.

First is Rebekah’s Treasure, by Sylvia Bambola, the second book I read on the plane flying over there. Beautifully researched, it tells the story of early Christians in Israel through the eyes of a fleeing mother an...

Childrens books on a trip to see a rather grown-up child

We went to Texas for our son's graduation, and stopped at an airport bookshop on the way. I had plenty of books with me from my review list, so I wasn't short of things to read. But my husband found an intriguing tale called The Book of Beginnings: Emerald Atlas, by John Stephens on the shelf at Powells. I read the back cover, and I couldn't resist. So... I read a book on my way to Texas. And here are some book reviews:

Emerald Atlas, by John Stephens, is a tale of maybe-orphans on the run fro...

Series, Serials and Cereal

I used to avidly read series of novels when I was a child. Biggles, the Chalet School, Barnabas Collins (though I never saw the TV series), and more. At first I didn't care what order I read the stories in; I just picked them by the title or the picture on the cover, knowing I was bound to enjoy the story too. But I gradually learned how the tales fit together; Chalet girls grew older, got married and had daughters of their own; Barnabas Collins? --- I never quite figured him out; and Biggles...

What is Normal anyway, asks Parnormal Writer

I'm delighted to welcome author Christine Amsden back to my blog today. The third book in her paranormal detective series is touring the internet, and, with a main character who's too "normal" for her paranormal world, I find myself asking, "What's normal anyway?" So here's Christine with her answer. Thank you for visiting my blog Christine!

Destined to write book reviews

Destiny plays a curious part in the books I've read this week. One follows the music of a young man whose singing is destined to move mountains. A second has already seen the mountains move in a post-apocalyptic world where the demon-child pursues a very sacred destiny. And a third takes a much more everyday look at lives destined to be saved despite terrorist and plot. It's a heady mix, so go brew yourself some coffee and enjoy. Or pick your book and choose the coffee to suit.

First is The Li...

No stopping in this unstoppable series

After Untraceable, Unspeakable and Uncontrollable, comes Unstoppable, so don't stop reading (and don't stop after this paragraph either--there's a great giveaway at the end of this post!).

One of these three is a short story; please click on the links for my reviews to find out which. Then read on and see what else is happening to Grace of the Everglades. I hope to read on soon as well, and will post my review as soon as I get to it. But first, please can somebody tell me how to download...
