Curves and Planes (Poem)

It needed to be said
It needed to be seen
Running through the halls and the fields that have cluttered the internal landscape
Clawing and climbing
Huffing in the air that was needed
Pain
Pleasure
When will it come to the end?
When will it return to the beginning?
Cold lips icy wind
Sadness and passion
A kaleidoscope of emotions ripping through the fabric
Confused
Alone
Never left in privacy
Never joined in joy
Crying in silence
Tears in the cyclone
Happiness is gold that was panned for as the sun set and moon rose
Did you want it this way?
Did you know what would come next?
All promise that have been spoken have been kept
All promises that were implied have been broken
Riding the bear though the wastes
Trying to escape the collapse
A wasteland that has swallowed the green and the gold
I will remain quiet
I will remain still
I will keep my promises
The spoken
And the implied
I will sleep in the light
I will walk in the dark
I will enter the secret place
