This giveaway runs until the end of May and, as I just discovered the book is no longer available for sale from Harlequin, *I* am the only way you can get a legit new print copy :) The sense of responsibility is enormous. Obviously there's still ebook and audio format, and if anyone who has already listened to the audio fancies leaving a review I'd be really grateful. The only written review there hated the book (as is her prerogative) and I'm hoping a few people might have enjoyed it. I haven't listened to the audiobook myself. I get all jittery hearing someone else speaking the words I wrote.

You'll Never Walk Alone

I cried at American Idol last night. Not at the obvious parts :) Hollie Cavanagh and Jordan Sparks sang YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE which is the Liverpool FC anthem, and it's the first time I heard the song since grandad passed away (he was born in Anfield). It caught me unexpectedly. Weird how those moments happen, out of the blue. Kind of beautiful too.

Meet the hero...

Strangely, I've never been compelled to use the amazing Josh Holloway as hero inspiration before. The book I'm writing right now is connected to DANGEROUS WATERS (the title might change) and the second story (DEAD CALM) is all about second chances. When I first wrote about Finn Carver's dark and dangerous ex-con brother, Brent, I hadn't planned to give him his own story, but any writer will tell you these characters have a way of growing into people who make these demands... Anyway, as soon as I figured out who Brent was, there was only one actor who could play him. It isn't going to be a hardship, staring at Josh for 6 months.

Big News

So my big news (apart from being another year older today:)) is I just signed a two book Romantic Suspense deal with Montlake Publishing. So excited! The first book, DANGEROUS WATERS, will probably be out the beginning of December (will let you know when I have details).
So all those people who've been asking me about the next book...it's coming!!!

Raising Money for Diabetes Research

I'm hoping everyone  has heard of Brenda Novak's Diabetes Auction. She runs it every year in May and has raised millions for diabetes research. In addition to being a good cause, there are a lot of very cool prizes :) including some from the Carina Press authors... see here.
Don't forget I'm donating 15% of my royalties from EDGE OF SURVIVAL to diabetes research. Brenda wrote a lovely foreword to the story.
