Eric Red’s Zombies-In-Space Graphic Novel "CONTAINMENT" To Re-Released
Eric Red’s classic zombies-in-space graphic novel Containment is coming back! And for the first time ever in hardcover and digital formats. Originally published by IDW Publishing back in 2005, it has been long out-of-print. The story takes place on a manned NASA space ship millions of miles from Earth, when a terrifying malfunction occurs in the cryogenic hypersleep pods containing the hibernating astronauts, turning most of the crew into the violently brain-dead. A handful of outnumbered astronauts awaken intact from their artificial slumber to find themselves pitted against murderous zombies running amok on the ship. The incredible artwork is by Nick Stakal and the introduction is by the legendary Wes Craven, who says about Containment, “It has blood, mayhem, sex, cat-and-mouse terror, and some of the best visual storytelling in years. Eric Red takes no prisoners. Read it with the lights on. Read it with a friend so you are not alone afterwards. Won't matter. You still won't be able to sleep afterwards. What better way to spend your remaining moments?"
CONTAINMENT Trailer
SST Publisher Paul Fry says: "I'm extremely excited to be re-releasing Eric Red's incredible zombie graphic novel Containment. I'm a huge fan of sci-fi horror and Eric Red and Nick Stakal capture the sheer dread of being trapped in space and being hunted down by zombies perfectly. Eric Red, with his totally engaging and captivating storyline and Nick Stakal's extremely dark and terrifying artwork. It's a perfect combination. Add to that an introduction from movie legend Wes Craven and you can't go wrong! I know if people missed this book the first time they're going to love this new enhanced edition and be proud to have it sitting on their shelves."

Who do you think dies on the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead
Tonight is the mid-season finale of season five of The Walking Dead. Because many of us TWD fans are just f*cked up individuals we are expecting some character or characters to die during the episode. I'm sure we all have opinions on who it may be.
It could be Tyreese since actor Chad Coleman has been cast in another show. It could be Carol as she was not in very good condition last we saw her. It could be Beth, well because she's Beth. It could be Noah because he's the new black guy. It could also be the surprise of no one dying. Who do you think bites the dust tonight?

Diversity reigns supreme on The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead has quietly assembled one of the most ethnically diverse casts on a top-rated TV show. When it airs its midseason finale Sunday, the show will have at least seven major non-white characters, including Michonne, a sword-swinging African American heroine who is also one of the program's most popular characters.

Interview with creator of Remain Calm - Zombie Apocalypse Role Playing Game.
Check out this interview with Jared Sanford the creator of a zombie role playing board game titled Remain Calm. He is trying to raise enough money through a Kickstarter campaign to get the game out there. (TDWZS refers to The Dead War Zombie Series.) Read and enjoy.
TDWZS: Tell us a little about yourself.
Jared: My name is J Sanford, and Im a long time horror and RPG fan. I live in Tampa and lovvvvveeeee zombies.
TDWZS: How big of a zombie fan are you?
Jared: On a scale of 1-10 Im a 500. Zombies are literally the modern equivalent of the dragon. They fit into every story and every concept. Even Bacon is better with zombies.
You are doing a Kickstarter campaign for a zombie themed game you have created. Tell us about it.
Jared: Our kickstarter launched on Halloween night and runs until Nov 30th. We are trying to raise 5000$ to fund a new kind of table top RPG we're calling a Meta Top.
TDWZS: Where did the idea for the game come from?
Jared: Well I grew up watching zombie movies and the question of "what would you do to survive?" is a classic question. A couple friends of mine always played RPGs with me and eventually just put it too me like "J, if zombies are going to be in every game, why not just MAKE a zombie RPG?" I was like "...derp... YA I think I will"
TDWZS: What makes your game unique?
Jared: About 1000 things. The biggest 3 are: You play as yourself, not a heroic character. If you're infected and turn you play on as both a zombie AND the horde. We only give you 30 seconds to think per round to come up with a plan. Its evil really :P
TDWZS: Where can we find out more about the game and donate to make the game a reality?
Jared: Our KS is on https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/remaincalmrpg/remain-calm-zombie-apocalypse-role-playing-game
Jared: Remain Calm RPG is about who you are and what YOU would do. it strives to answer that question and doesn't play nice when you make dumb decisions and we need YOUR help to fund it!
TDWZS: Anything you would like to add in closing?
Check out the video for the project below.

Danny Trejo's new zombie movie, The Burning Dead
Have you wondered what would happen if someone mixed a zombie movie with a disaster movie? Me neither but that didn't stop someone for making a movie that combines an erupting volcano, zombies, and Danny Trejo! Check out the trailer for The Burning Dead ( or is it Volcano Zombies) below! The film should be released in 2015, probably on DVD and VOD.

THE TRAILER:
THE PLOT:
The rural community of Elwood is fenced off from the outside world in the wake of an apparent plague.
Humans die but keep moving & shamble the landscape looking to spread their infection in a grisly, horrific way. The community is guarded by a band of young people raised since children to be military combatants. Under the leadership of vet Seiler (Billy Zane), they are known by the community as "Zombie Killers" a negative term used behind their backs.
Ian Sommers tends to his dying mother Sharon (Dee Wallace) while having a semblance of normal life with girlfriend Nikki (Gabrielle Stone). The town is under the care of "Doc", a stoic man who believes in keeping the residents of Elwood comfortable until the inevitable end. Rory Gower and his young wife Toni (Mischa Barton) search for a reason behind the plague while Seiler and his young soldiers discover something far worse coming for Elwood. Something that may target them or put them in the way of an "Elephant's Graveyard" and Hell.
