What one store must you go to during a zombie apocalypse?

Okay boys and girls here's today's end of the world scenario. Zombies have overrun your community and you and your family are speeding out of town. Once you heard about the zombies you hauled ass so you have no weapons, food, or additional clothing. On the way out of town you pass a mall that house a gun store, a small grocery store, and a sporting goods store. Because of the advancing zombie horde and because you don't want to split up your family you only have time to enter one store. Which one will it be?

Which store will you enter?

In the Flesh cancelled by the BBC

[SOURCE: BBC] BBC Three has cancelled its supernatural drama series In The Flesh.

The second series of the show ended last May with just over half a million people watching the finale.

The story revolved around teenager Kieren Walker, played by Luke Newberry, who came back to life after a zombie apocalypse and returned to school.

"Given there is only budget for one original drama series a year on the channel it won't be returning," said the BBC Three Twitter feed.

"We loved the show but have to make hard choices to bring new shows through and create room for emerging talent.

"Huge thanks to the Bafta award-winning writer Dominic Mitchell and the superb cast."

Battle of the blurbs, which zombie book would you rather read?

Hi all, I'm bringing back something I used to do when this blog first started. I'm posting two books and asking readers which book they would rather read based on the book's blurbs. Here are this weeks two contestants, The Scavengers vs Insurgent Z.

The Scavengers by Gen Griffin

It has been 28 years, 14 weeks and 9 days since a virus turned more than half of the world's human population into zombies. More than 95 percent of the population died within 6 months of the initial infection. Those who survived holed up wherever they could find safety.

My parents found safety in the Cube, a building that was originally built as a prison for violent criminals. Mom and Dad always told me the sacrifices we made to live in the Cube were worth it because we were safe.

Its been 13 days, 12 hours and 42 minutes since my parents disappeared without a trace from our apartment inside the Cube.

I'm going to leave the Cube for the first time today. Maybe I'll find my parents. Maybe, I'll be eaten by the zombies.

Insurgent Z: A Zombie Novel by Mark C. Scioneaux & Dane Hatchell

In the small town of Botte, Louisiana, days are long and summers are hot. Sheriff Mason Guillot keeps a watchful eye over his little community, until an ominous figure from his past returns to haunt him. A military experiment is launched to make soldiers impermeable to biological weapons, in hopes to create a new breed of super soldier. But then the unthinkable happens. A chemical meant to save lives instead damns an entire community. Mason is stuck in the middle of an outbreak of epic proportion. The dead have returned to life, and it's up to Mason to save his friends and get out of town. His resolve is tested more than he ever imagined. A chance to redeem himself for his past failures presents itself in the end. It's up to Mason to find the inner strength to win.

Which zombie book would you rather read?

Where exactly does ROGUE fit in the Dead War Zombies series timeline?

Hi this is George Cook and I writing to respond to a few questions I have gotten about the latest Dead War Zombie Series book, ROGUE. Some have a few questions about ROGUE's place in the Dead War Zombie timeline because it's the fifth book in the series, but is technically a prequel. Well it's easily explained.

You see ROGUE is a prequel that takes place immediately before the events in The Dead War Zombie Series: Book One. The story explains a few minor occurrences in Book Two: Abomination and definitely explains the surprising ending of Book Three: WAR, got it?

Okay that's it. Have a great day!

George Cook.
