Zombie Book Of The Day: Death Troopers: (Star Wars Legends)
Have you ever wondered what would happen if zombies made their way into the Star Wars (expanded) Universe? Well find out in Joe Schreiber's Death Troopers: Star Wars. Check out the book synopsis and the book below:
When the Imperial prison barge Purge–temporary home to five hundred of the galaxy’ s most ruthless killers, rebels, scoundrels, and thieves–breaks down in a distant, uninhabited part of space, its only hope appears to lie with a Star Destroyer found drifting, derelict, and seemingly abandoned. But when a boarding party from the Purge is sent to scavenge for parts, only half of them come back–bringing with them a horrific disease so lethal that within hours nearly all aboard the Purge die in ways too hideous to imagine.
And death is only the beginning.
The Purge’s half-dozen survivors– two teenage brothers, a sadistic captain of the guards, a couple of rogue smugglers, and the chief medical officer, the lone woman on board–will do whatever it takes to stay alive. But nothing can prepare them for what lies waiting aboard the Star Destroyer amid its vast creaking emptiness that isn’t really empty at all. For the dead are rising: soulless, unstoppable, and unspeakably hungry.
Features a bonus section following the novel that includes a primer on the Star Wars expanded universe, and over half a dozen excerpts from some of the most popular Star Wars books of the last thirty years!

Zombie Book Of The Day: The Apocalypse Crusade
In an apocalypse there is definitely a beginning where mistakes are made and the seeds of evil are allowed to sprout and take shape. However, an end is not so certain. Once an Apocalypse occurs not even death is certain. Sometimes death is only the beginning.
At first light that morning, Dr Lee steps into the Walton facility on the first day of human trials and can barely contain her excitement. The labs are brand spanking new and everything is sharp and clean. They've been built to her specifications and are a scientist's dream. It's where cancer is going to be cured once and for all.
By midnight it's a place of fire, of blood and of death...a death that, like the Apocalypse, is seemingly never ending.

Review: Giant Land Octopus
5.0 out of 5 stars Campy, goofy fun February 20, 2015
By Cloverbay
If you want a serious read - look elsewhere. This book is hilarious. It's a light-hearted parody of all the ridiculous sci-fi monster films. It's a quick read and worth it.
The entire thing was campy, amusing, and downright funny. I love those cheesy sci-fi movies for that very reason. They are over the top, have terrible acting, terrible CGI, and are so awesome for all those things. This is all of that in a book. I loved it. I was entertained and I could picture the uber cheesy acting and CGI in my head. And it reads about as fast as watching one of those movies - so go read it. :)

Scifi, horror, & humor! Giant Land Octopus
Yes its as preposterous as it sounds!
15 years after a baby octopus is flushed down a toilet it suddenly returns to wreck havoc on a small Texas community. Only a disgraced scientist, a nerd, and a small town sheriff stand between the Land Octopus and the end of the world! Okay maybe just the end of the small Texas town, but you get the idea.
