RT Mag Online Features Powertools

What a great email week it's been!  Found out that 12 of my 20 current (or soon to be) published ebooks are going into print in 2012.  Six are already in print so this will make 18 of the 20.  Pretty terrific huh?  Also received edits on Red Light 4, which means it's one step closer to having a release date.  Woot!   Stay tuned for more on that soon.

Best of all, I got a message from RT Magazine today saying that they'd done a feature article on the Powertools series, especially Devon's Pair, called Making Menage Love Work.  I love it!  :)   Here's a link to the article by Dawn Crowne.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.  I really appreciate all the support I've recieved for the series from fans as well as sites like RT.

Thank you all!

Release Day – Powertools #4 – Devon's Pair

DevonsPair72LGThat's right, the crew is back and better than ever (at least I think so).  Then again, Neil and James have been my favorite characters to write in this series… until Devon came along.  In all of the Powertools books the stories are told from the female point of view.  Because for me, if this was going to work it had to be about how sharing the guys made the women feel I suppose. Devon appeared on the scene and replaced Neil and James as my fav (only by a little guys, don't worry).  As I sit here on the eve of the release of this book I'm wrapping up writing book five, Nailed to the Wall, and I can promise you'll be seeing a lot more from Devon's point of view in this one too!

But anyhoo… as for Devon's Pair, it's out today!  YEY!  Here's a little more about the book including an early review from Guilty Pleasures.  I hope you enjoy reading the latest installment in the Powertools series as much as I did writing it.

Available at Samhain Publishing

Available at Amazon

Available at B&N

James has watched each of the crew fall in love, one by one, until only he and his life partner Neil remain "unattached".  So, when he sees the way his bisexual boyfriend is checking out their new apprentice, he's sure he's doomed to lose the man of his dreams.  His love is strong enough that he would let go to ensure Neil's happiness.  Instead, sparks fly between the three of them and he realizes he might not have to surrender because his boyfriend's girlfriend is becoming his girlfriend, too.

Don't Take My Word For It (Click on the link for full review!)

5 Stars from Didi at Guilty Pleasure Reviews, "HOLY SMOKIN' MENAGE!!!! It always amazes me how even when Jayne Rylon is pushing my "comfort zone" with one of her smokin' hot sex scenes, she never fails in getting me all hot & bothered and making it where I can't put the book down.  This is a short story, but length does not take away from the smokin' hot sex and the emotional turmoil between Neil, James and Devon. IMO this is one of the most emotionally beautiful stories of the series, the connection between Neil, James and Devon is soo strong it's believable, as are the feelings of despair and jealousy that come up.  And that naughty, evil Jayne…left us with a hell of an ending!! Thankfully it's not the end of the series, like I thought. I strongly recommend reading Power Tools in order to be able to get the whole dynamic of this group of friends/lovers, they are all novellas. WARNING: You need to be open to menages in any number of variations [image error] "

Free For All – New Cover Art!

freeforall_FINALHello everyone, I hope you're surviving the holiday insanity.  I'm thrilled to say I got an early Christmas present today in the form of a gorgeous new cover.  This one is for Red Light #4, Free For All.  For all of you Star & Rick fans, I think you'll be pleased with the HEA in this book, which is why it will be releasing in the regular Ellora's Cave line instead of the Exotika line.  Woohoo!  Anyone recognize the model who got cast as Rick?  Yep, it's our friend Alex the Caveman who was as charming and gracious as he is handsome when we met him at Romanticon.  I couldn't love the cover any more!  I'm not sure on the release date yet but I'll shout it out as soon as I know.  In the meantime, here's a little bit about the book :)   Happy reading!

After an amazing courtship filled with nights steamy enough to thaw the lingering winter chill, Sarah is finally beginning to believe she might have found the one man on earth who can support her career as a sex worker in Amsterdam's Red Light district.  But when she asks around, it's clear Rick isn't taking advantage of the freedom their open relationship offers. None of the sexiest girls in the district have serviced him for months.  Not even Mari, a previous favorite.

Afraid of losing the star of her nice and extra naughty dreams, Sarah confronts her boyfriend about his change of heart.  Rick confesses he's no longer interested in wild times without her.  Instead, he'd like to try experimenting with multiple partners, show off his sexy woman and revel in the company of like-minded hedonists.  Fortunately, he knows just the place for a debauched experience wicked enough to make even an experienced hooker blush.

A sexual free for all is on the menu at one of Amsterdam's infamous swinger's clubs.  Will it satisfy their hunger?

5 Cherries for Mistress's Master!

MistresssMaster72LGThis is very timely as I'm working on the print galley to prepare the third installment in the Men in Blue series for print release on 8/7/12.  As part of the process I supply review quotes and boy does this one have plenty of great ones.  I can't tell you how much I love reviews from Whipped Cream reviews.  And this one is no exception.  I recommend you check out the full review here but these snippets are making me smile big time!

"This tale will have you riveted with its nail biting suspense and overheating from its nuclear eroticism, and a happy ending that will leave you feeling completely fulfilled. Ms. Rylon has an amazing talent for creating a clear picture in her reader's minds that transports them into the middle of the action, creating a heart pounding, emotionally charged experience. This story was fast paced with non-stop action, believable dialogue, characters displaying raw emotions and a plot with twists and turns that would not allow me to put this book down. The eroticism portrayed in this story had me turning the pages to find out what was next and asking myself if I could stand the intensity. Ms. Rylon's love scenes are written expressively with vivid descriptions and extreme imagery connecting her readers to the scene with their minds and emotions. If you like a book filled with a perfect blend of fast-paced suspense and explosive sexual tension, go get yourself a copy of Mistress's Master you will not be disappointed."

Go Men in Blue!  You can also check out a blurb and excerpt on the book's page on my site by clicking here.

New York Times & USA Today Bestseller Lists

EasternAmbitions72LGThe past 12 hours have been so amazing I'm still kind of stunned.  Thank you to every single fan who helped put Eastern Ambitions at #26 on the NYT Bestseller list and #130 on the USA Today Bestseller list.  Talk about a lifelong dream!  This is a enormous milestone for me and I'm thrilled to share it with Mari Carr.  Having her along on this wild ride makes it twice as fun.  Coming up to Thanksgiving (how fun is it that the NYT list will be printed when my family will be visiting?) I think you all can guess what I'll be grateful for this year.  YOU!

RAW 2011 Recap – with pictures!

[image error][image error][image error]RGROkay, I know the conference was over a week ago.  Truth be told, I'm just recovering now.  It was that much excitement :)   This was my fourth go at Lora Leigh's Reader Appreciation Weekend and I swear every year gets better and better.  The location was gorgeous.  Full on fall when we got there, and then winter as we got several inches of snow.  The mountains and lake were amazing.  The hotel was a straight ride from Dulles, where Mari Carr picked me up personally, but there was also a shuttle service for other out of town attendees who were not lucky enough to have a bff in the area!

The events were fabulous this year, with the smores being a highlight for me.  Thanks Shari for donating your marshmallows to me!  Of course, no matter how fantastic the balls and dinners were (did I mention the decadent ice cream bar?!), seeing other authors, industry professionals and of course the readers made the whole thing perfect.  I got to hang out with several members of our Heat Wave Readers group as well as both returning RAW'ers and first time attendees.

The new "bobbing for authors" events were a big hit too!  Basically it was like speed dating for authors and readers.  And best of all, Lora gave a hardbound memory book with pictures of the resort and the authors to each attendee so they could get autographs to remember the event by.  Mine is in a place of honor on my bookshelf.  Oh, and then there was Lora's sponsored racecar with all of the authors names on it.  Honestly, the list could go on and on.

This post is a sad recounting of four days so jam packed with fun I could never hope to capture it all in a brief blog.  I hope next year you'll all come see for yourself.  I know I'll be there!
