Years and years ago I got a bootleg CD of songs from this show that weren’t otherwise released. One oddity was the audio clip of David Bowie reciting The Lord’s Prayer. It’s very sincere.
George Michael gave the best performance at this concert, by far. Sort of the equivalent of the set Queen played at Live-Aid, outshining everyone else by a wide margin. For a little while there rumors abounded that George Michael would become Queen’s new front-man, which I would have liked.
