I used to think the political right would be forced to acknowledge the reality of climate change...
I used to think the political right would be forced to acknowledge the reality of climate change once it became so apparent it couldn’t be denied, but I recently had the bleak epiphany that the gun violence epidemic reveals how entrenched political perspectives don’t ease up in the face of a crisis, they seem to cement harder.

I saw Mike Pence tweet “winning” in response to this bullshit, and you’d want to laugh at their pathetic idea of what winning for this country is, but you realize, forcing black and brown people back into “their place” is 100% what the Trump movement is about.
