Ugh. Monday. How did that happen?

today etc... :)

This is an older pic of a pumpkin chiffon cake that girl child and I converted to be Gluten Free. And it was gone in a blink. I miss that cake...

Today. He's really very tired. It's exhausting being this cute...

Wake up stretch. Soooooooooooooooo good...

A little wiener (circa around the year I was born probably) from Alison Tyler. He's on my TBR shelf along with some books I'm itching to read. And okay, okay! A few of mine.

Boy child's "Birthday cake" which happens to be my favorite dessert but my mama makes me the same for my birthday only she uses gluten free pretzels. Crafty boy child. I can't eat wheat, his dad can't eat strawberries. Gee, I wonder who'll get the lion's share of this dessert?

Hope your Saturday was nifty :)

no chainsaws, no knives, no guns, that leaves...um...

I'm at Justine Elyot's lovely site talking about my zombie escape plan as part of my reign of terror aka the Lunatic Fringe mini blog tour. What's yours? Better than mine, I bet.

Feel like sharing? Go tell us how you'd escape a ravenous undead hoard. Or you can tell me here. Dealer's choice. ;)

And to break up all the zombie fun...

A really nice review for Ferryman from Booking It. And if you follow that Ferryman link you'll see a nice reader review on there too. That's two happys for the price of one! Here's a snip of the review:

I really liked the Ferryman. Graham's over-the-top personality is a nice balance to Charon's stoicism. I believe it is definitely worth checking out this tale of two unlikely individuals coming together.

We now return to our regularly scheduled zombie reign of terror. I have a new stop on my tour coming up later today. Deets to follow...

double time...

Happy Thursday!

I am talking about being that girl over at Victoria Blisse's lovely blog. I'm a Blisse virgin so she's being gentle with me. But you don't have to be. Read about how I'd totally fail at defending myself against a zombie hoard and then leave me a comment for a chance to win Lunatic Fringe.

And then when you're full up on zombies go see about my idea of lust worthy wolves over on Gee/k/ink. There's Jacob and Joshua, and I'm pretty sure that writer guy might be a beast...

Come visit me and say hi. Or howl at me. Or moan BRAIIIIINZ...or something ;)

XOXO

Lunatic Fringe...we all know you're out there...

I'm out today! Or my zombie exterminators book #3 is. Lunatic Fringe is now available for purchase from Resplendence Publishing. And here is the nifty blurb:

Poppy's birthday should be a big, fun, sexy deal. And it is, until the zombie exterminators find out that the creepers in their neck of the woods happen to be switching the game up a bit. They have a new nifty trick that keeps them from being readily recognizable. Something poor Poppy is unlucky enough to find out on her morning run. She goes from fantasizing about her birthday foursome with the boys, to running home to spread the bad news of mutation.

Her big day is suddenly full of machetes, a lady from the CDC and news of a new vaccine that might—or might not—work. Lucky for Poppy the boys won't let the new turn of events ruin her birthday, they still take her where she needs to go. Because all four of them know, every day could be your last. Sadly, Garrity, Cahill and Noah can't control what happens next. Things change, possibly forever, for their little group of exterminators. And over the next few days Poppy realizes a few things with perfect clarity: she loves Garrity, the thought of losing one of the boys terrifies her, and she's completely at a loss when it comes to one of her own being threatened. It seems to be the one area in which she can't pull off the bad ass persona.

What will she do, she wonders, if their perfect group of four suddenly becomes a group of three? How will she survive?

On the site you can click to read the opening pages of the book.

Let me clear something up on the zombie front, because some folks seem confused about the premise. My zombies are NOT banging like bunnies. Not that the idea hasn't crossed my mind, if I'm honest. There's a huge dark comedy factor there...but I digress! My EXTERMINATORS are doing it. And doing it...And doing it. She'd doing it with him and he's doing it with another him. And then he's doing it with her and him and then...he's doing it with her and him and him also!

There is a lot of doing it, but the poor dead fuckers they're hunting...not doing it.

Tada!

Go here to find out more.

XOXO

Confessions, Jud Crandall and winning the full zombie exterminator series...

I am doing all that today! (and i haven't even had a full cuppa coffee yet). I'm over at the lovely Katie Salidas's blog today talking about how I used to be 'meh' about zombies...but then realized I actually liked zombies...or at the very least had been scarred by zombies and...

Never mind. It's hard to explain. All you really need to know is if you go to Katie's blog WRITTEN IN BLOOD and drop a comment you get a chance at winning the entire zombie exterminator series. Books (pdf format) 1, 2 and 3 (Lunatic Fringe) which comes out Wednesday from Resplendence Publishing. I'm offering the whole kit and caboodle because Katie is kicking off my reign of terror. I mean months of guest blogs.

Surely you have a good feisty zombie tale to tell. Or you could just laugh and point at me.

Contest runs until the 23rd.

XOXO

who...me?

I always wonder who they're talking about when I see 'best selling author' attached to my name. After all this time it still startles me. Tickles me, true, but also...startles. Anyway, Nothing But The Boots a fun, hot rubenesque erotic short is now available on Smashwords.

Awesome!

And that is all I have today because I am having a very lazy Saturday. I'm one of the seven deadly sins over here. I think Sloth might be tattooed no me somewhere.
