CDC Want Gay Men In Florida to get Meningococcal Vax Because of the Worst Outbreak in History
This sounds ominous. Thanks to a serious outbreak in Florida, the CDC is asking gay and bisexual men to get vaxxed for meningococcal disease.
As of Friday, there have been 26 cases and seven deaths with 24 of these cases among men who have sex with men. Six of the deaths were also a part of the LGBTQ community. Half of the cases have been in men who identify as Hispanic.

About 20 years ago, Tony and I had a regular routine on Sundays. On the global front, a Pride parade was canceled in Oslo, Norway, due to a deadly shooting at a gay bar. The police are treating this as a possible terrorist crime.

A Library In New York Has Banned All LGBTQ Content From Children
This was shocking to read. There's a town on Long Island called Smithtown that recently banned all LGBTQ content from their library in the children's departments. That means any books with LGBTQ content and even the Pride Flag.
The Smithtown Library Board of Trustees has issued a resolution demanding the removal of all LGBTQ+ Pride materials from the children’s departments across all four of the library district’s buildings.
