Ted Cruz Is Against SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling,
Ted Cruz Is Against SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling
I saw Ted Cruz on Twitter yesterday talking about how he believes the way SCOTUS ruled on gay marriage was wrong. The fact that he would even state that after so many years makes me wonder. Public approval in support of gay marriage has risen significantly in the last ten years, which makes me think that Ted Cruz may have made a huge mistake with his comments.
But, Cruz also said this.
Cruz added that it would be "more than a little chaotic" for the S...

Maryland Man Indicted for Allegedly Targeting Gay Men, Ryan Field Books
Maryland Man Indicted for Allegedly Targeting Gay Men
This one is scary. A man who was allegedly posing as a federal officer targeted gay men at a park. He allegedly assaulted five gay men with some kind of chemical "irritant." Parks and rest areas are notorious cruising spots for gay men, and this dates back to the times when gay men couldn't come out in public...years. I guess you could call it a well-kept secret between gay men. Apparently, there are still places like this that exist.
Meridia...

GOP Congressman with Anti-Gay Past Tries to Win Over Gay Voters, "Stranger Things" Star Noah Schnapp Claims Will is Gay and in Love with Mike, Ryan Field Books
GOP Congressman with Anti-Gay Past Tries to Win Over Gay Voters
I don't find this all that surprising. I see more and more straight people who at one time were anti-gay changing their minds. Let's face it, even Hillary Clinton opposed same-sex marriage until she "evolved." So why should it be so unusual for a GOP Congressman to "evolve?"
Despite his previous opposition, the Republican says, he believes the 2015 Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage across the nation should not be...

Same Sex Marriage Rights Will Remain Secure In Virginia and Why Abortion Is Different From Same Sex Marriage, Ryan Field Books
Same Sex Marriage Rights Will Remain Secure In Virginia
While everyone is worried about same sex marriage rights and this particular SCOTUS, the governor of Virginia recently stated that if SCOTUS were to reverse same sex marriage rights same sex married couples would still be safe in Virginia.
During an interview Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Youngkin gave the impression that same-sex marriage rights would be secure in Virginia regardless of whether Supreme Court reconsiders and reverses i...

When You Sue Over Ads Implying Your Political Opponent is Gay, Allegations of Manosphere Pastor's Gay Past, Ryan Field Books
When You Sue Over Ads Implying Your Political Opponent is Gay
This one bothers me because the undertone seems to imply that there's something wrong with being gay. And I don't like that. In this day and age we should know better.
Hammon argues that the ads, pushed out in mailers and in social media, suggest that he and Norton are in a same-sex relationship, and that someone who is gay is unfit for office.
Here's more. They go into a lot more detail, but the bottom line suggests there's still so m...

Hey Guess what? COVID Isn't Over and You're Putting Other People At Risk While Hospitalizations Increase, Ryan Field Books
Hey, Guess What? COVID Isn't Over and You're Putting Other People At Risk While Hospitalizations Increase
I'm vaxxed, twice boosted, and I have monoclonal antibodies, and, I'm still wearing a mask indoors. I just believe it's the responsible thing to do for anyone with a compromised immune system. There are people out there struggling to live with chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and I don't want to be responsible to give them anything. I hear a lot of idiots tell me masks don't work. Well if mas...

Natalie Portman and Taika Waititi Accused of Exaggerating "Thor" as "Super Gay", Ryan Field Books
Natalie Portman and Taika Waititi Accused of Exaggerating "Thor" as "Super Gay"
I'd like to know where these people get off saying things like "super gay." No one would dare say "super black" or "super Asian." So why do they think it's okay to say, "super gay?"
I'll tell you why. Because we let them. If we would all just ban together for once these gay references would not happen. And these straights would learn.
This is pure gay-baiting and exaggerating queer content.
Here's what someone on Tw...

A Celebrity Owned Gay Night Club In NY Faces Alleged Discrimination Lawsuit, Ryan Field Books
A Celebrity-Owned Gay Night Club In NY Faces Alleged Discrimination Lawsuit
I come from a gay background in New Hope, PA, where all the gay venues welcomed everyone. In fact, there was a sign in one gay nightclub in New Hope that read: "This is a gay club, but everyone is welcome." And it all worked out well and everyone got along. So reading all of the allegations with regard to the gay nightclub, "The Q," in this article was a little surprising to me.
Pikus wanted the venue to be “comfortable ...

10 Things to Know About Gay Cruises
I remember when gay cruises first started back in the 90s. Tony and I were invited to go on one of those gay cruises and we declined. We've never had all that much time for traveling and when we do travel the last thing we want is to be directed, to be on a boat filled with people, and to have to deal with all that food they serve on cruises. And that's just to name a few things. We knew then, and still know now, that it's just not something we would enjoy.

Google Blogger Is Now Censoring Writers
I've been with Google Blogger for almost 20 years now. I started out on LiveJournal, but quickly switched to Google Blogger when I was working for a start-up called Best Gay Blogs. At that time, blogging was another form of social media and bloggers interacted regularly with people who left comments. And Google Blogger was the place to go.
Not so much anymore. I have had several of my older posts flagged for no reason at all. Google decided to actually cen...
