According to their attorney, 69 have been released. 

But first they have to post over $600 in bail.

For those who may not know, gay men have not been allowed to give blood since the mid-80s. 

And not without reason. We knew very little about AIDS and people were being infected with AIDS as a result of blood transfusions. It took days to get back test results. Once we figured that out, the ban started. 

However, even though eventually we were able to give rapid AIDS tests the ban continued.
