Erotic Cuban Men; Prison Themed Pride Party Slammed; Boner Photos; Gay Republican Poll

Erotic Cuban Men

There's a highly artistic photo series of Cuban men by Kobi Israel titled, Love Stories, Cuba. Israel is referring to it as a "visual travelogue," and says this:

“I explored notions of the macho and the masculine/militant versus the homoerotic in revolutionary Cuba,” Israel explains, describing photography as “detective work” to “explore the subconsciousness of emotional and philosophical queries.”

Israel took the time to get to know each subject pe...

Gay Christian Rock Star

A gay Christian rock star who recently came out claims she tried all kinds of outrageous things to help cure her of being gay. When you read about some of the hell she put herself through because she thought she was a sinner, you'll sit there gaping. However, as extreme as this is, I think we can all relate to this in one way or another. If there's one thing I've never seen it's a gay man or woman who came out with a great big smile and said, "That was so easy."

It...

Gay Brady Dad Robert Reed; Bathhouse Bust; James Arthur Anti-Gay Mixtape

Gay Brady Dad Robert Reed I remember being a little shocked when it was disclosed that the actor who played the dad on the retro TV show, The Brady Bunch, was gay in real life. Looking at reruns now, I think Robert Reed should get one of those lifetime acting achievement awards, posthumously. He had us all fooled.

This is from wiki:

After his death, Reed's Brady Bunch co-stars — most notably Barry Williams and Florence Henderson  — publicly acknowledged Reed's sexual orientation,...

No Gay Sex: George R. R. Martin

George R.R. Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire, which is the book series upon which Game of Thrones is based, was asked why his books don't have any gay sex scenes even though they are filled with straight sex scenes. His reply is actually about as professional as it gets. He writes each chapter from one character's POV in the first person and he claims none of these characters are gay and it wouldn't work for that reason.

"I'm not going to do it just...

FREE Excerpt/New Release: Sheriff and the Outlaw by Ryan Field

FREE Excerpt/New Release: Sheriff and the Outlaw by Ryan Field

Here's the next installment of the Glendora Hill gay western series, "The Sheriff and the Outlaw." It's a stand alone book that doesn't have to be read consecutively with the rest of the series, but it does return the general storyline back to the first time the main characters met and fell in love. In some ways this could have been the first book, but we thought it would be interesting to create a book in the series that told...

Daily Gay Sex, Gay Organ Donors; George Takei's Crowdfunding; Gay Dad on Robin Williams; Cage James by Ryan Field

Daily Gay Sex

Just when you think you've heard it all, along comes something like this. Mischa Badasyan claims he's about to have gay sex every day for the next year in an attempt to create something artistic. He's from Berlin but was born in Russia. This, however, is the most interesting/confusing part. He's planning to find this daily gay sex in public...like supermarkets and highways in order to turn these destinations into places of "human connection." Like that hasn't been done...

Queerty on James Franco

The other day I posted about James Franco and the topic of passive aggressive homophobia, which he seems to have mastered. I'm not commenting much here. I'm reluctantly posting about the subject this time with two links simply because I wanted to show that I'm not the only one who's noticed this about Franco. Frankly, I'm bored with it all.

But Queerty recently commented about Franco and homophobia in this piece, which backs up my previous posts almost to the...

Hachette Paperback Fail; Gay Virginity Loss; How Gay Men Lose Virginity

Hachette Paperback Fail

This article discusses the recent comment made by big 5 publisher, Hachette, in response to a letter Amazon sent out to readers and KDP authors. I've already posted a little here. Hachette makes a broad generalization about the invention of the paperback, but fails to mention a few important, interesting details that most people wouldn't know.

Well, technically, it isn’t false — it’s true that mass market paperbacks weren’t invented to replace hardbacks. But t...

James Franco Plays Gayface

There seems to be something underlying happening between James Franco and some in the media. Although Franco wants as much attention as he can get to self-promote, he seems to want that attention on his own terms and the media doesn't always play that game. And it is a game. If and when they want to give attention, it's on their own terms. When the two clash it becomes a circus of sorts and you wind up with Gawker making silly insinuations about James Franco bei...

"Gay American" Jim McGreevey

I know I'll never forgot turning on the TV for a special announcement from Governor of New Jersey, Jim McGreevey, in August of 2004. I just sat there waiting for something else to come on because I thought it would be another boring political speech that would run too long and contain nothing of substance like most political speeches. But when McGreevey said that he was a "gay American" I turned up the volume. That was ten years ago and a great deal...
