Kelly stood looking at the clock tower. Jae broke the silence. "Originally, I thought maybe we could go to the observatory."
"Oh, that would be—"

I got a terrific review for Physical Therapy from the BookWenches Review site. Wow. It got a 5 rating and B.D. Whitney had this to say about it:
There is little doubt in my mind why so many people are fans of Ms. Maxfield’s writing: she is extremely talented, and her stories deliver a pleasing combination of excellent characterization, real and heartfelt emotion, and entertaining narrative. Bravo.
So cool! Thanks Book Wenches and B.D. for giving it a read. You can read the rest of the review, HERE

Hello Goodreads!
Wow! I completely underestimated the power of the Goodreads Author Blog Widget. Imagine my surprise when I realized that my blog would show up on my profile there! Now my blog seems to wind up at LiveJournal, Facebook, Myspace, and through some only barely understood alchemy, Goodreads.
I’m finally filling out my author profile here, and if anyone wants to ask me a question just drop me a line. I’m new to all this, so be patient. Technically speaking I was born in the year of the typing monkey.

Review for Physical Therapy
Today I got a new review from Rainbow Reviews for Physical Therapy. It was a lovely 5 stars out of 5 and Nikki, the reviewer had this to say:
Physical Therapy is a powerful story full of angst and heartache as well as healing and love. Ken and Jordan are complex characters who found a space in my heart almost immediately. Whether it’s the town, or the simpler life, St. Nachos is a magical place. I hope Z.A. Maxfield takes us there again soon.
You can read the full review Here.
Thanks Nikki (!), and
