Ho'oponopono cleaning in Las Vegas

In case you hadn’t noticed, a lot is happening in 2020. The world is moving at lightning speed with challenges coming at us in all directions. It may seem overwhelming and exhausting. But let me tell you this, it is also a time for great transformation—should you have the eyes to see and the courage to act. In fact, wonderful surprises are ahead (more on this in a second).

First, I want to tell you a story I love.

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolvesOne is evil—he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other wolf is good—he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you— and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed.”

So, which wolf are you feeding? Are you living in the light of peace and joy, or are you giving in to your fear? Remember, the problem is never the problem. How we react to the problem is the problem. Fear is a weakness we cannot afford to engage, especially in these troubling times. This the time we must connect with our own Divinity and realize how powerful we are. This is the time to walk toward the light and truth.

And to make that a little easier for you, I am happy to announce my promised surprise! For the first time, I will be presenting my Ho‘oponopono seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yes, Las Vegas! And, so all can enjoy, I will do it in English with translation to Spanish.

I hope you will come to this extraordinary city for a very special cleaning and transformation!

The Ho‘oponopono cleaning is very powerful, and as you know, whatever gets erased from you, gets erased from your family, relatives, and ancestors—everybody. It is no exaggeration to say that you will make a difference in your life and the planet?

There has never been a better time to begin looking at the world in a new way, with a fresh start, and with hope, joy, and the belief that we can change the world around us.

I hope you will come and join me on this Divine cleaning opportunity.

Come to Las Vegas and let’s make a difference together.

With love,

mabel

Time to let go of judgements and unite

“Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance.” — Brené Brown

Some calendars mark more than full moons, holidays and time off from work. They mark special days that will hopefully inspire us to stop and reflect on what we can each do to make the world a better place. If you are lucky enough to own one of these calendars, you will know that February 20 is World Day of Social Justice.  It is a day that asks us all to do our part to bring a dividing world closer together. It is a day that asks us to work towards peace.

I say call the boss and take the day off. It should be a holiday—a celebration of peace. Just a joke!

Now, I understand that social justice is one of those phrases that’s hard to describe, at least without using many other words—fairness, open-mindedness, level playing field, equality, tolerance. The United Nations calls social justice “the underlying principle for peaceful and prosperous coexistence within and among nations.” That’s a beautiful definition.

The million-dollar questions is: how do we do this? How do we make social justice a reality?

As a society, we advance social justice when we remove barriers that people face because of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, or disability. For the United Nations, the pursuit of social justice for all is at the core of their global mission to promote human dignity. Along with many other organizations, they present plans for greater social justice by tackling issues such as poverty, exclusion, gender equality, human rights, and unemployment.

And while I am filled with gratitude that there are so many wonderful organizations working tirelessly for this cause, the truth is this: the challenge belongs to all of us. Social justice is not just a fight for the United Nations, or our politicians, or the wealthy, or our neighbors. The fight belongs to every one of us. And, of course, it’s not a fight at all. It’s more of a surrender. A surrender to love.

Love is the only way we’ll bring social justice to our planet—and it will arrive in the only way that is possible—through one heart at a time. Mine. Yours. All of us.

Ultimately, social injustice is about the gap between what is fair and what is unjust, between division and unity, between love and hate, between who we are and who we want to be.

It is our job as citizens of the planet to fill this gap with our best self, the part of us that loves and accepts all people.

Although there is a catch to this solution, we cannot accept others unless we accept ourselves first.

Loving ourselves sounds easy, and it is. But we must do the work, which means not getting in our own way by overthinking. And we do a lot of thinking. In fact, we each think over 75,000 thoughts each day. And we have to ask ourselves how many of those thoughts do we spend judging ourselves—we’re not smart enough; we’re not witty enough, rich enough, young enough, pretty enough, successful enough, good enough. If we let our thoughts run wild, we will eventually start to believe anything, even our own negative and faulty thinking.

To accept ourselves, we must recognize that these negative thoughts are not real. They are old memories. We must erase these memories in our subconscious mind and learn to be kind and gentle with ourselves. To be forgiving. Patient. Vulnerable. Honest. As the Buddha said, “You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love & affection.”

This is why I say Ho’oponopono, the ancient Hawaiian art of problem solving, can help bring peace to the Earth. I have been practicing and teaching Ho’oonopono for over 20 years. I have come to realize that when you let go, you give permission to a more intelligent mind (I call it God) to transmute and correct. And whatever gets erased from you, gets erased from everybody. When you change, everything changes..

And if we can love and accept ourselves, we will be able to do it with others. And once we can love and accept others, the gap between who we are and who we want to be will slowly collapse. The world will grow closer, and as it becomes closer, we will see that we are more alike than different. We will see that we are all part of the same cosmic family.

When we get to this moment, we won’t have to fight for social justice anymore.

It will already be here.

Do you use your sixth sense?

Pretty soon I will start traveling again. Now it is time for my Spanish trainings in different parts of Central America, USA and South America. Also some spiritual journeys in Argentina and Peru await us.

In our trip to Avalon last December, I got the message I had to go to Disneyland. When I arrived in Los Angeles I received a call from my nephew that lives in Mexico city, telling me they are coming to visit with the kids. So I asked him if they were planning to visit Disneyland and he said yes! So, I ended enjoying Disneyland with my kids and nephews. It was a wonderful gift for my soul.

Besides many different insights I received in Disneyland, I got a very strong call to go to Egypt, so we are planning to transform in Egypt in 2020 too!

Yes, lots of blessings and transformations are ready and waiting for us this year. Are you ready? It’s going to be really exciting.

And let me tell you something else that’s going to be exciting—this month’s Q&A.

We live on a planet where most of the world only sees what is right in front of their nose. It is a black and white world that only accepts the truth that comes from the mind—what you can see, hear, taste, touch, and feel. It is a world of the five senses. And while most of the planet will stay in this place forever, continuing only to believe what the mind will tell them, there will always be those—perhaps you—who will gaze up into a sky full of stars and awaken to the Divine Truth that can only come from the heart.

You can call this your gut talking, or your inner voice, or your inspiration. By any name, it’s the higher part of who you are—the part of you that can understand the world without the need of the mind.

It’s also called the Sixth Sense. And once you discover it, your life will never be the same.

And while I do not doubt that you are already using this higher part of Being, I’m going to show you how to access and trust it even further—developing your Sixth Sense so that you will enjoy the abundant and peaceful life you deserve. I hope you will join me for this month’s special Q&A:

When we use our Sixth Sense, we are perceiving something that isn’t apparently there. And while this might seem like magic to some, for those of us who choose to live a spiritual life, it’s an acknowledgment that we are listening to the part of us that is all-knowing and eternal.

Our Sixth Sense is also called our creative imagination, or the part of us that communicates with Infinite Intelligence, and without any effort from us. Our job is to let go of our egos and minds so that we can access our Sixth Sense, which is the point at which the mind of man contacts the Universal Mind (which lives beyond intellect and knowledge).

Discovering the hidden powers of our Sixth Sense will not only warn us of impending dangers, but opportunities to embrace. More than that, it will allow us to choose the path that will bring us the greatest amount of abundance, joy, and peace.

Of course, if you’re listening to your heart, you already know that!

A more loving Valentine’s Day

“Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit.”
Khalil Gibran

In the United States alone, this year, an estimated 20 billion dollars will be spent on Valentine’s Day, along with 145 million cards that will also be given away. That is a lot of hard-earned money spent on saying I love you.

But there is another side of the coin. The world needs love. As much love as possible. And, quite frankly, I’m for any day that wants to celebrate love.

However, this does not mean we can’t bring more meaning into the day. We can and we should. It is my hope that this year we will all look for new ways to transform Valentine’s Day into a celebration that becomes an expression of what love really is.

The truth is, we can make Valentine’s Day anything we want. We can continue to make the day about what we buy from a store (and there’s nothing wrong with that by itself) or we can make it about what we choose to give from our heart. It’s our choice. But, before we decide, we should remind ourselves that while flowers may wilt and candy may be eaten, the love that comes from our heart—from the deepest part of who we are—will last forever. And it will also spread beyond our small corner of the earth and then boomerang back to where it belongs—into our own hearts. As Paul McCartney once sang, “The love we take is equal to the love we make.” We will never know love until we give it away.

Let’s challenge ourselves to make this Valentine’s Day a golden opportunity to open our hearts and spread love wherever it needs to go. We must trust that love will find its home. And, yes, this might be romantic love for a mate, but it’s also love for a child, our family, and friends. It’s love for the work we do, the passions we follow, the joys we discover. It’s love for the earth and the sky and the ocean. It’s love for our planet, our consciousness, and our divinity. It’s love for each other.

And above all, it’s love for ourselves. As you celebrate Valentine’s Day, remember that you can never love someone else more than you love yourself.

So, if you want to send flowers, start by sending them to yourself. Treat yourself to a massage. A warm bath. A trip away for the weekend. And while you’re at it, write yourself your own Valentine’s Day card—tell yourself how grateful you are to be alive, to breathe, to enjoy, to love. Remind yourself that the more you love yourself, the more love you will have to give the world.

The Beatles were right, “All You Need Is Love.”

Real love! Unconditional Love. Love given freely and without expectation, from one beautiful soul to another. That’s what I call a more loving Valentine’s Day.
