Raise your energy and transform your life
Hello from Guadalajara, Mexico, where I was happy to be invited to present at an International Peace Forum. I started my talk with a simple question: “How many of you would like to have more peace in your life?” Every hand in the room went up.
I nodded and said, “Really? Are you sure?” I then asked another question: “Who is willing to take 100% responsibility for their life—to completely let go of all blaming and complaining?"
This time, not that many hands went up. You see, we may think and talk about all the things we want in our lives, but so often, we are not willing to do what it takes to make our dreams come true.

And the truth is, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, we all have things we want to achieve—a place to call home, a new career, good health, wealth, happiness, spiritual awakening. Your dreams are beautiful things, my friends—they make your life rich and joyful, and the world a better place. You need to believe in yourself and chase your dreams with all your heart. You need to TRUST you have what it takes inside you. Unfortunately, many of us give up on our dreams almost before we even start. We may think it’s because we have no time, money, or skills. But the fact is, we do not believe it’s possible and have no energy to chase our dreams, or more accurately, the right energy. Money is not the great currency of our time. Time and energy are.
The good news is that we have the power to change and raise our energy so that it will allow us to live the life we desire. We simply need to invest our time better and change our focus and stop “buying” into the negative aspects of life. Of course, to do this, we must let go of what isn’t working and begin focusing on the positive aspects of life. To change our focus is to change our attitude and stay conscious, which will always raise our energy. In this month’s special Q&A, I will show you exactly how to do this. I’m betting it can change your life.
Becoming conscious is the greatest gift you can give to the world. Like a stone you throw into the ocean, it has a ripple effect that spreads out to the world and makes it a better place. Best of all, this same ripple will always come right back to its source—you!
Join me as we throw stones in the ocean together—raising our consciousness in service to a better world and a life where all your dreams come true.
With love,

Let’s see the world as youth see it

If ever there was a day that was close to my heart, it is International Youth Day, celebrated each year on August 12.
If ever there was a day that was close to my heart, it is International Youth Day, celebrated each year on August 12.
It is a day initiated by the United Nations as a way to promote better awareness of the World Progamme of Action for Youth. The programme encourages youth around the world to organize activities to raise awareness about the problem of youth in their country. More than that, they are encouraged to take action. In past years, young people have dealt with transforming education, building a better world, promoting peace, eradicating poverty, and fighting climate change. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Their enthusiasm and commitment to a better world remind me why I spend so much time working with young people around the world — because they believe anything is possible. You might be tempted to call a child naive, but there is profound wisdom in the innocence and nature of a child, and in the way a child looks at the world. They see the world differently, which is why they have different programming than ours.
As we celebrate this beautiful day, we must stop and learn from children — to trust their hearts and their inspiration. If we do this, we will have children who will believe in themselves and can create a better world.
And as you can see, they already are changing the world.
We must begin to see life as a child sees it — no judgments, no opinions, no limiting beliefs, where all our thoughts are pure and in the moment. I call this Zero Frequency®, which is where we must all strive to be. Children already have this connection; they see life with that color and freedom from which we have slowly been moving away.
When you were a child, your thoughts were limitless because you were living naturally at Zero Frequency®. Your connection to the universe was pure and direct. You were free to be who you were. But then, as you grew older, you began to internalize other people’s opinions, negative experiences and ideas, and your own painful experiences. Over time, you became conditioned to believe in your limitations. You stopped believing in yourself and lost your magic. You lost your passport to the state of Zero Frequency®.
Now is our time to get back to that same frequency.
On this beautiful day, let’s not only celebrate our youth but also let’s imitate them by, once again, believing in our own dreams — that magical and wonderous place in our hearts where anything is possible.
Let’s return to Zero.
With love,

Choosing friends wisely!

They say you’re given your relatives, but you choose your friends, which is why choosing your friends wisely is one of the most important decisions you will make. You’re actually choosing who you want to surround yourself with, or what energy you want to bring into your life. In a certain way, your friends are a reflection of who you are.
While many friends will come and go, moving in and out of our lives with changing seasons, some will stay for much longer, perhaps forever. A good friend allows us to be our real selves, without filters or masks. They offer us someone to share our problems with, or a shoulder to lean on, or the perfect hug at the perfect moment. Friendship is something beautiful — offering lasting memories that we can treasure and honor forever.
But friendship is also very fragile and must be taken care of and tended to; otherwise, like all fragile things, it will quickly disappear or die away. And how often do we see a friend turn into an enemy? We need to tend to our friends like gardens.
Of course, when it comes to the friendships we keep, there are no coincidences. Some of our friends come from other lives — some we owe a debt to, others owe us. In either case, friendships are always an opportunity and a blessing.
In Ho’oponopono, I learned that we all have two inseparable friends whom we can count on at all times, assuming we are open enough to approach them. The first friend is God, that eternal friend who we can always seek and find shelter with. The second friend is our inner child — the part of us that is small and large at the same time, that which will always help us make the connection with God.
And, remember, a good friend is not someone who feels sorry for us or agrees with us when we feel like victims. A good friend is someone who reminds us that we are 100% responsible for our lives and that the power is within us to stop complaining and blaming. A good friend empowers us.
Of course, real friendship is only possible when you are aware of yourself and the world around you. It is your decision to choose the friends who will not only make you happy but will help you grow into the person you were meant to be.
Choose your friends wisely.

Do you believe in coincidences?
I’m back at my home in Los Angeles, enjoying my sons and working as usual. The South American tour was spectacular. Thank you so much to everyone who participated. Thank you for your love and commitment.
In Chile, where we had maximum capacity in the ballroom, we opened another room with a projection by closed circuit, and it turned out to be a complete success. They were so comfortable and happy in that room, that they didn't even want to come over to take the selfie in the big room with us.
Colombia gave me the opportunity to contribute by presenting in a men's jail. I also presented in Uruguay, in a low-income school for children with disabilities. In Argentina, I presented to high school students and to a group of parents of autistic kids. What more could I ask for?

The truth is that I received a lot of applauses on this trip. In Uruguay they applauded for everything. I actually made them aware of that. Then they were inhibited by my comment and no longer clapped for anything, not even when it was time to applaud. So I ended giving them permission to applaud! It was very funny. And in Argentina I was applauded so much at the beginning and at the end of the seminars that I felt uncomfortable for the first time. I didn’t know what to do, so I said, "I'm not Ricky Martin, what's wrong with you?"

Well, again thank you very much. I swear it doesn’t go to my head.. I am very clear that it's the message, and not the messenger.
One of the Easiest Paths to Happiness, Peace, and Abundance has always been to take 100% responsibility for your life. Of course, this invites us to ask a deeper question: How do you live a 100% responsible life? The answer is simple: You begin by recognizing that there are no accidents or coincidences in this world and that every moment is a spiritual moment. All those seemingly random coincidences are part of a universe that is sending you messages—guiding you to the experiences and truths you need to live an awakened and abundant life. There is even a word for it. It’s called synchronicity. And it’s a magical word!
Now, I realize most of the world will always call these accidents or coincidences. But I believe these are small miracles. It is the universe tapping you on the shoulder and saying there is more to this world than you could possibly dream of.
Now, here is the thing with all the synchronistic moments in our lives—they require us to listen, observe, connect the dots, and then put into action the guidance we are given. I would like to show you how to get started in this month’s special Q&A:
I will show you how you can begin to observe and interpret all the small and large moments in your life. More importantly, I will show you how you can turn these moments into action so that they will lead you to the life you want to live. It is the path to pure consciousness. If you go deeply enough into your own awareness (coming closer to source), you will see that everything is perfectly ordered and aligned. Synchronicity is merely a glimpse of this— a window into the incredible power of a universe that is all connected. To know and live in this awareness is to change your world. And we can do it together.
After all, it is no accident that you and I are sharing this journey.

What is your Karma?
I have a lot of favorite words. My long-time readers already know what they are—sorry, thank you, let go and trust, I am not going to worry—all powerful words that can move mountains. But there is another word that I love equally as much. It’s not a word we use in everyday conversations, but it’s a word we should all know. That word is Karma.
Karma refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that individual. The Bible calls it “sowing what you reap.” The Buddhists call it “action driven by intention, which leads to future consequences.” Even the Beatles spoke of Karma when they sang, “the love you take is equal to the love you make.” It’s all the same thing. What goes around comes around. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In short, Karma is both action and the consequence of that action.
When understood (and embraced), it is a word that can bring you more peace and happiness, which is why this month’s Q&A is dedicated to understanding and embracing its truth. I hope that understanding Karma will lead you to realize all of your dreams.
Whether we like it or not, everything that is happening at this moment is a result of the choices we've made in the past. Unfortunately, a lot of us make choices unconsciously, and therefore, we don't think they are choices. But they are. Everything is a choice, including our thoughts (especially our thoughts), which all add up to the Karma we bring to our lives. If I were to insult you, you would most likely make the choice of being offended. If I were to pay you a compliment, you would most likely make the choice of being pleased or flattered. But think about it: it's still a choice.
Sadly, most of our choices (or responses) are on automatic pilot—preconditioned reflexes that are triggered by old tapes. If we want to create happiness in our lives, we must take back these responses and become consciously aware of the choices we make in every moment. Good Karma begins in our moment by moment decision to choose wisely.
In this special Q&A, I will show you how to step back and catch yourself and your thoughts in every moment. Ultimately, all choice begins by asking yourself two simple questions:
1. Will the choice you are making now bring happiness to you and those around you?
2. Is your choice guided by your heart—the higher part of who you are?
If you answer yes to both questions, your behavior will result in what is called spontaneous right action. The fact is, there is only one choice, out of the infinity of choices available in every second, that will create happiness for you as well as for those around you.
It is from this place that you will create your future—your happiness, your success, your peace of mind. And your good Karma.
Make a wise choice and join me for this special Q&A. Your future depends on it.
With love,

Be happy, every day

In many parts of the world, there is a beautiful tradition called “Yellow Day.”
It’s a celebration of the happiest day of the year, which this year falls on June 20th, which is one day before the summer solstice. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this marks the longest day of the year and the moment when the sun reaches the Tropic of Cancer, its highest point.
The idea is simple: More sun, more light, more happiness. You know, as in lazy summer days and long vacations. Some countries even throw in an extra paycheck to mark the occasion! Who wouldn’t be happy?
But while I’m a big fan of yellow and any tradition that highlights our need to be happy, there is a problem with anything that calls itself “Happiness Day.”
There is no such thing as the happiest day of the year. The happiest day of the year is the day — or every day — we decide to be happy. Happiness depends on us. It’s a personal decision — not one that comes from a calendar.
Now, I understand that summer might be a happy and carefree time for many. And nobody is going to be sad if they’re handed an extra paycheck. But the truth is, the seasons change and so do our bank accounts, and our happiness can never be the consequence of changing seasons or changing bank accounts. Our happiness begins by deciding to be happy. When we do, this abundance will come. We just need to trust.
Unfortunately, most of us are taught that we will only be happy AFTER money arrives, AFTER we have our own home, AFTER our problems go away. But, in reality, the opposite is true. Happiness doesn’t come AFTER anything. It comes first — the moment we choose to be happy and live in peace.
When we do this, all of life will flow to us like magnets.
The truth is, we shouldn’t need anyone (or anything) outside of ourselves telling us when or why we should be happy. We should steer our life for ourselves, moving in the direction that brings us happiness.
Here’s the good news. Finding the secret of happiness is a lot easier than we think. In fact, it’s why I wrote my book, Maluhia, a Happy City. It’s about a beautiful group of people who know to be happy and live a healthier and more peaceful life. There are 26 stories which will help you connect with your inner wisdom, awaken your consciousness, and create a vision of how the world can be a much happier and peaceful place to live. I humbly suggest you read it.
Of course, that same happiness is already part of you. You just need to make a choice — to stay happy regardless of what happens in your life. To live in the present. To be thankful for what you have. To love and accept yourself as you are.
I propose we celebrate Happiness Day, as a beautiful reminder that we should be happy every day!
After all, happiness is not achieved; it’s chosen.
With love,
