We’re finishing our first week of EXQUISITE SIMPLICITY in the member’s area. Marilu’s brother once joked that Marilu had children so that she could have more closets to organize. While that might have been an exaggeration it DOES tell us something about her love of organization. It’s no surprise that she would want to team up with Rachel DiQuattro and Sarah Brohm, the owners of Uniquely Anew, in order to bring you the information and advice you need to tackle trouble areas in your own home. Our members are compassionate and many have a heart for animals. This article is chock full of useful information on what to do if you should see a dog unattended in a car on a hot day. FARMER’S MARKET
One of the best things about summer is the availability of fresh produce. Not only is there more abundance in your grocery store but local produce is plentiful and inexpensive. Visit your local farmer’s market to find delicious fruit and vegetables that are LITERALLY fresh off the vine! Added bonus: purchasing your food at the site where it’s grown is a unique experience that’s a lot more fun than a trip to the supermarket. Many local farms will still make their CSA shares (community supported agriculture) available with pro-rated prices.
We strongly urge you to look into this as it’s better for you AND better for the environment as well as your community. And since your local farmer is working hard to provide you with good quality food WITHOUT the GMO’s it’s a good way to let your money speak for you.
